Beautiful Healthy Junior Giants
I received my order of 16 Junior Giants via FedEx on Saturday and planted them the following Thursday. They were shipped from Oregon all the way to MA and arrived healthy and dark green. They were well packaged and when I unpacked them they smelled so good. Nice and piney. Behind my fence used to be a half acre of forest. Now there is a big house. These trees will give us both some privacy when they mature. The trees are in a bed enclosed by cobblestone (70ftx8Ft). Trees are planted is a raised bed 50 inches from the fence and 48 inches apart.

It’s growing perfectly!
Package arrived well packed. Planted immediately and saw Green shoots start within a day or so. It’s now gained about a foot in height. Seems to have settled in nicely.

I was worried the plants

Heart throb dogwood

The 3 ft tree came carefully packaged and although smaller than I expected it looked very healthy despite the record heat outside. I plan on keeping it in a large container on my patio and hope that it does well! I am wondering how long it will take to flower and produce fruit. I’m considering ordering a second one for better pollination.

Great company, great plants
Fast Growing Trees provides quality plants to customers- it’s up to us not to screw them up. I ordered the 10 pack of dappled willows at a rock bottom price and was thrilled when they arrived. After 5 days in transit they were under some shock but they were well packaged and I gave them a few days in a semi shaded area to adapt for transplant. The ground was prepped and soil tested for PH, nutrients base everything ready to go. Note this was in early May. I watered in every morning, we have Sandy loamy well draining soil that I amended heavily with compost. All died but 1. I was miserable. Sent in the photos, got replacements quickly. Tool soil samples to Ag ext. for full analysis. Adjust PH slightly, did more research. When I got the new plants they got a nice soaking in Root n Grow, covered with a black 50% shade cover along the row and put in a drip line. I watered directly from our well at 1/2 power with a 25’ soaker hose. For 3 hours every morning. They are surrounded with 5” of wood mulch. 1. I’m in SC and during the time we went 2 months with no rain in my area. A morning 15 minute watering with hose wasn’t enough. 2. While heat tolerant and needing sun, Willows required shade from the harsh afternoon sun until well established. They got burned. Our weather conditions at the time were much too severe for the plants to settle in, going from nursery to Hot as Hell, with drought conditions. My second set, and the lone survivor from the first are now thriving and growing well with new shoots all over. Know your growing conditions at time of planting and adjust them for what the plants would have with a typical spring/fall planting. I am grateful for FGT to have kindly replaced my plants after they died. I am grateful for being able to talk with them for direction and advice. I have and will continue to order more from them as we continue to build out our property. I have fruit trees from them in our orchard which are doing fabulous. Photos show planting row with dead shrubs, then replacement ,that are thriving.

My Banana Trees Are Thriving!
I'm so pleased with how much my banana trees have grown since February! They've nearly doubled in size. I placed them outside for a short time, thinking they would enjoy the summer weather, but the intense North Carolina heat and direct sunlight quickly caused leaf scorch, turning many of the leaves brown. Although banana plants thrive in warm climates, those grown indoors need time to gradually acclimate to stronger sunlight. A sudden move from filtered light to full sun can stress the leaves. I moved them back into my sunroom, where they receive bright, indirect light, and they're already beginning to recover with healthy new growth. It's a great reminder that even sun-loving plants need a gradual transition to outdoor conditions. The next time I move them outside, I'll "harden them off" by placing them in morning sun or dappled shade for a few hours each day over 7–10 days, gradually increasing their sun exposure. This process helps prevent leaf scorch, strengthens the plant, and gives it the best chance to thrive. One of the things I love most about gardening is that the plants are always teaching me something. Every success—and every setback—is an opportunity to learn and grow.

7 plants arrived in great shape. Seems there are 3 plants per pot and maybe for support as they do grow large. These filled the area perfectly. I have another elsewhere on the property and they do fantastic here.

Beautiful Ivy
These have grown so well. I’m zone 7 and they’re all in planters to climb. The ones in harsher direct sun have grown slower but still have growth. The ones in partial shade have taken off (pictured). Tons of growth in 6 months

I bought this tree alongside a McIntosh tree three years ago. The Honeycrisp was packaged nicely and was very sturdy. I purchased the 6-7 ft tree. I am happy to report that the tree is doing great and has about 8 apples this year. First time fruiting! I feed my trees Dr Earth fruit tree fertilizer as per instructions and have a light layer of wood chips at the base to retain moisture. I need to loosely stake it as the winds have been high lately. I only spray with neem oil. Please see my McIntosh review. This year has been very exciting with the trees producing fruit. The photos show when I first bought the Honeycrisp tree, the tree now, and a few of the apples.

Great tree!
I bought the 6-7ft McIntosh apple tree 3 years ago. It arrived in great shape and blossomed the very spring I bought it. It arrived strong and only became stronger every year. It tried to fruit last year but all of the apples dropped. Don't fret if this happens as this is usually a sign that the tree is still too young. I am happy to report that it finally has apples this year without dropping! I am going to give it a light trim this winter as it really needs it. I feed it Dr Earth fruit tree fertilizer as per instructions and keep a light layer of wood chips down to retain moisture. I paired it with the Honeycrisp apple tree which is also doing great (see my review). FYI, I keep my trees organic and only use neem oil. I attached a few photos. One when I first received the tree, second is what it looks like today, and a third of some of the apples. There are about 22 apples.

Lovely little Blanche!
The day after we received Blanche we went to Home Depot across the street and got everything we needed. Ever special miracle grow soil!🤗We read everything oh so carefully and tried to get everything PERFECT! We here in Portland OR have almost 0 rain! But every day I sing to hey do little dances and even shake my money maker?🫣Blanche loves it! I Kroger moisturized when necessary but don’t over do it☔️

Best tasting blood orange. Very sweet. Friends waiting for the next harvest. Tree is about 6 years old and on its 3rd year of fruit. Suffered a partial freeze about 4 years ago, but recovered and thrived after we planted it in the yard.

MM - Limelight Hydrangea
These are fantastic! They arrived well protected in a sturdy, ventilated box. They were planted this spring and grew quickly, are easy to manage and are thriving in our yard. Some direct sun at noon and shaded in the morning and late afternoon. Blooms have started on both of the trees I purchased. They are healthy and doing well. So well, in fact, that they draw pesky deer. As protection on our investment, you might also want to put a fence around them like we did, as deer are very interested in munching on the leaves - those scoundrels! And yes, that is a bar of Irish Spring hanging from a string, which also seems to be helping keep the deer away. . . or is this just more internet fodder? TBD. The Limelight Hydrangea is a great product that I would definitely buy again, and Fast Growing Trees provided a superior healthy tree, at a reasonable price.
