Sunlight
Your American Arborvitae Tree needs lots of bright sunlight. Choose a spot in your yard that receives full sun during the day (6 to 8 hours of sunlight).
Watering
For the first season after you plant your tree, water it deeply and frequently by placing a water hose at its base for 10 minutes a few times a week. After the first season, your American Arborvitae should not need extra watering except in periods of drought with little rainfall.
Fertilizing
No fertilizer is necessary for the American Arborvitae to thrive, but if you want to give it a boost you can use a general evergreen and shrub fertilizer in the Spring.

Order process was seamless. Ordered 6 tree's total (2-3'). Order was shipped 2 days after order submitted, arrived my house approx. 4 days after being shipped. I was a little concerned of the time in the delivery truck but trees arrived in very good condition and well packaged. I planted the tree's same day they arrived and they seem to be doing quite well.
