A Cheery, Woodland Look for Your Landscape
Why Blue Moon Phlox Plants?
Whimsical and cheery, the Blue Moon Phlox is a richly colored plant with clusters of delicate blossoms. This wildflower bush is guaranteed to deliver a stunning display for your landscape throughout the warmer seasons.
The Blue Moon Phlox perennial grows in clustered groups that reach about 1 foot tall and 1 foot wide. The stems intertwine, showcasing bright green oblong leaves. When in full bloom, the flowers are a gorgeous blue-purple, providing a dramatic contrast.
The peak of the Blue Moon Phlox’s blooming season is late spring, extending in some regions to mid-summer, for vibrant color throughout spring and summer.
The compact size of the Blue Moon Phlox makes it ideal for gardens or patios, and it pairs well with other decorative border plants. Planting & Care
1. Planting: Find a spot with well-drained soil and full to partial sun (4 to 8 hours of sunlight per day).
Plant your Blue Moon Phlox in a hole twice as wide but just as deep as the root ball. Water immediately to establish roots, and add a 3-inch layer of mulch to prevent weeds.
If you're planting in a container, select a pot that's about twice the size of your plant's shipped container, and use organic soil. Place your Blue Moon Phlox, water to settle its roots, and find a sunny spot on your porch or patio.
2. Watering: Blue Moon Phlox Plants prefer moist, well-drained soil, but can tolerate some drought. Water weekly, or check the surrounding soil. When soil is dry about 3 inches down, it's time to water your Blue Moon Phlox.
If your Blue Moon Phlox is in a container, water until you see it flowing from the drainage holes at the bottom.
