Lavender crush
In the ground but hasn't had a chance to bloom.
Beautifully fragrant rose
There were some wilting blooms on this rosebush when it arrived and the fragrance was heavenly. The soil was still moist around the roots but the blooms and some of the leaves were showing stress. By the time I ordered this rose our NM sun was getting pretty intense and additionally we have had some really strong winds for a lot of days. Each idea that I created to shade the newly planted rose was then destroyed by strong winds within a few days. It has been in the ground for about a month now. All of the original leaves and blooms were finally trimmed back, sunshade set up is now staying put, and new growth is sprouting out. I am beginning to have hope that it will survive.
