Great surprise!!
I didn't plant it till the second week of August. So I really wasn't expecting anything out of it this year. But I have a bloom and lots of growth 3 weeks later!!!

Very Pleased
I've planted several types of roses and the Don Juan is by far our favorite. Within 6 weeks both of the Don Juan's I planted have added over 3-4 ft of shoots and produced a half dozen flowers each. Unlike the Blaze family of roses (which are still beautiful), the Don Juan roses have the classic rose shape and my wife adores them. They cut well for arrangements. Can't wait to see these plants in a few years time.
