Grow Delicious Bananas Indoors or Out!

Why Dwarf Cavendish Banana Trees?

Superfruit, right from home. That's what you'll get with the Dwarf Cavendish Banana Tree. Bananas are ultra-healthful, packed with fiber, potassium calcium and iron, plus the good looks for a tropical-inspired tree.

Warmer climates enable vigorous growth when this tree planted in the ground, but because our Cavendish is uniquely dwarf-sized, it also thrives when it's container planted. Plus, it only matures to 8 to 10 feet in height, so you'll be able to transport it from the patio to your kitchen or sunroom with ease.

The Dwarf Cavendish means you'll have a tropical air in any space. The leaves of the Cavendish grow up to 4 feet long, are extremely lush, and provide shade and privacy. Young leaves may tinge with red while the majority of the leaves are a fresh green color for extra visual interest, complemented by sizable flowers that drop prior to the development of your delectable bananas.

Why Fast-Growing-Trees.com is Better

Tropical and Fast Growing

Received in good condition, with very small pup. Replanted in a larger pot but I should’ve went much bigger. Pup shot up and is as big as the mother now. Already had 3 more pups pop up and removed 1 to gift. Love they are so prolific!! The guttation prevents me from bringing back in the house so hope it survives in the greenhouse this winter in zone 6b! Hope to see some bananas at some point!

Fast Growing Trees Plant ExpertHi Heather, thank you for sharing your update. It is great to hear she arrived safely with that little pup, and now it has grown so quickly that it matches the mother in size while more pups are appearing. That speaks volumes about her vigor and how well you are caring for her. Guttation can make bringing her indoors a bit tricky, so moving her to the greenhouse is a smart solution. Keeping her in a well-drained, generously sized container and ensuring she gets plenty of light will help her thrive. We are excited for you and will be hoping for bananas someday.

They have been growing great

They have been growing great so far. Started at about 6" and now at about 50". Planted in wine barrels in an indoor patio. We shall see if they fruit.

Strong little trees

I ordered two of these spring 2024. They came in great shape and were looking great. Of course the cool winter came and this time we happen to get the very rare snow, so when spring of 2025 came they were taking a little longer than expected to wake up. Unfortunately my husband was impatient and cut them down. Luckily the little pups hadn’t sprouted yet and weren’t damaged so they started growing in their place, and they are looking amazing. I can’t wait until next spring/summer because we should finally have bananas then.
