Discover your Passion with this incredible Plant
Climbing to heights of 20 feet each year, the fast growing Passion Fruit plant features a variety of benefits that continue to make it a favorite among enthusiasts. Combining beauty with a unique looking and delicious fruit, the Passion Fruit plant climbs quickly along trellises or fencing. The leathery leaves cover the plant in a glossy green that makes a very good screen. Named for its fragrant, purplish flowers said to resemble the crown of thorns, the incredible blooms are so visually appealing, they resemble the ornate images in a kaleidoscope. Add to that the wonder of the fruit itself. As it makes its transition from green to purple, the Passion Fruit's perfectly round form takes on an almost copper hue. When it ripens, the deep purple color enhances the green leaves for a spectacular show for all to admire.
Passion Fruit Looks and Tastes Like No Other

Combining hints of guava, papaya, pineapple, mango and citrus, the Passion Fruit is one of the most aromatic and flavorful fruits imaginable. With some varieties growing as large as grapefruits, the inner pulp is as unique looking as it tastes. Refreshing and slightly tart at first, the fruit becomes sweeter, exhibiting more of the complex flavors as it ripens. Although it's perfect for eating fresh off the vine, many fans create their own Passion Fruit dressings, desserts, fresh fruit juices and even culinary classics. All you have to do is hand-pollinate your vine and watch the delicious possibilities emerge!

Passion Fruit Vine (Flower) Pollination
Passion Fruit Vine (Flower)s are self-fertile. You will get fruit with only one plant. However, adding an additional Passion Fruit Vine (Flower) will drastically increase the size of your crop.
Planting & Care
1. Planting: Choose a location where your tree is going to get plenty of sunlight, around 6 to 8 hours per day is ideal.
When you're ready to plant, ensure you have well-drained soil and dig a hole twice as wide and just as deep as the root system. Place the plant in the hole and backfill. After planting, be sure to give your Passion Fruit a deep watering for about 5 minutes.
If you're planting in a container, just select a container that's twice the width of your plant's shipped container.
2. Watering: Be sure to give your plant a deep watering so that it can penetrate into the root system. After watering, allow the top 2 to 3 inches of the soil to dry out completely before watering again.
3. Fertilizing: Feed your Passion Fruit during the warmer spring and summer seasons with a fruit specific fertilizer and follow label instructions.

I ordered from Fast Growing Tree many years. Good company.
So, let me start off by saying the amount of time it took to get shipped out to me was ridiculously quick. When I received the passion vine I was incredibly shocked on how big it was and how much new growth was already growing. Super healthy I accidentally broke a piece of vine but quickly prepped it for repotting and is now growing just as fast as the mother plant. (Awesome)....will order again!!
Ordered 2 and they came beautifully packed. They were actually larger than I expected. Got them planted right up in large grow bags. They are sprouting new growth so fast I have nicknamed them Audrey 2 and Twooey from Rocky Horror. I can’t wait to see what they will do in the spring.
Everything was easy...ordering, updates on shipping, plant arrived in good shape. It is planted and appears to be happy. Now if l can just be patient for it to mature and produce fruits! This is my first order with this company.
So far good experience, just waiting for it to take hold and start climbing. I'm looking forward to the fruit.
