Climbing to heights of 20 feet each year, the fast growing Passion Fruit plant features a variety of benefits that continue to make it a favorite among enthusiasts. Combining beauty with a unique looking and delicious fruit, the Passion Fruit plant climbs quickly along trellises or fencing. The leathery leaves cover the plant in a glossy green that makes a very good screen. Named for its fragrant, purplish flowers said to resemble the crown of thorns, the incredible blooms are so visually appealing, they resemble the ornate images in a kaleidoscope. Add to that the wonder of the fruit itself. As it makes its transition from green to purple, the Passion Fruit's perfectly round form takes on an almost copper hue. When it ripens, the deep purple color enhances the green leaves for a spectacular show for all to admire.
Passion Fruit Looks and Tastes Like No Other

Just got the first flower today. Fantastic. Plant is healthy . Love it . Appreciate fast growing trees teams support. Very friendly staff .
I was very pleased with the overall experience from FGT- the plants arrived well-packaged for travel and in good shape despite being on the road for five+ days. One plant was noticeably bigger than the other. Both have been repotted and within days showed new growth. I don’t know how long it will take to flower/fruit, but I’m looking forward to it.
I bought a couple other trees along with the passion fruit vine. All were healthy except the passion vine which at brown spots on leaves. Customer service was great!! They will work with you to make things right! They shipped me a replacement vine!
I will follow all instructions (which I had to go online to find information).......no REAL instruments came with plants. Hopefully, I will someday eat the fruit.
They are mature and gorgeous! Can’t wait to see the blooms next spring!
Planting & Care
1. Planting: Choose a location where your tree is going to get plenty of sunlight, around 6 to 8 hours per day is ideal.
When you're ready to plant, ensure you have well-drained soil and dig a hole twice as wide and just as deep as the root system. Place the plant in the hole and backfill. After planting, be sure to give your Passion Fruit a deep watering for about 5 minutes.
If you're planting in a container, just select a container that's twice the width of your plant's shipped container.
2. Watering: Be sure to give your plant a deep watering so that it can penetrate into the root system. After watering, allow the top 2 to 3 inches of the soil to dry out completely before watering again.
3. Fertilizing: Feed your Passion Fruit during the warmer spring and summer seasons with a fruit specific fertilizer and follow label instructions.
Estimated Shipping Time: Most orders ship immediately, however we are currently experiencing delays and could take up to 11-14 days from date of purchase. As noted on the website, some items are seasonal, and may only ship in spring or fall. Once your order is shipped, you'll receive an email with a tracking number.
