Premium Superfood from a Super Plant, All Organic

A robust member of the rabbiteye family, the Tifblue Blueberry Bush produces large numbers of premium blueberries, year after year: firm, flavorful and always-sweet. Even better? This lush variety is organic and easy to grow. No harsh chemicals and no green thumb necessary.

The low-maintenance Tifblue blooms in March – its medium-sized berries ripen deliciously and are ready to pick in late June through July. It’s highly adaptable, with roots native to the Southeast, and needs approximately 650 chill hours annually to bloom reliably. So not only is the Tifblue Blueberry Bush heat and drought tolerant, but it’s also the hardiest of the rabbiteye blueberry species. Plus, it’s disease resistant and has only a few serious pest issues.

The Tifblue Blueberry Bush is a serious producer, so it won’t take long to reap the rewards of this delectable plant. The Tifblue fruits within one to two years of planting. And by its seventh or eighth year, it can deliver up to 15 pounds of berries during harvest season! Though it’s one of the few self-fertile varieties of blueberry bush available, the Tifblue’s bounty is maximized by planting a cross-pollinator nearby.

An abundance of healthful, nutritious fruit makes the Tifblue a first-class pick. It’s like having your own backyard supermarket, filled with the superfood, summertime-ready berries you love. Plenty of produce means extra berries for winter reserves. Plus, these blue beauties are chock full of antioxidants that boost the immune system, including a ton of fiber and vitamin C. These health-conscious blueberries lend a super sweet, tasty texture to breads, cereals, smoothies and more.

Best of all, the Tifblue Blueberry Bush doubles as a fruitful favorite and ornamental must-have. One bush provides three seasons of visual interest: bell-shaped blossoms of white and pale pink in the spring, developing, bright blue berries in the summer with green, glossy foliage, and a rich burgundy hue at the season’s end.

And it’s easy to keep happy and healthy. The Tifblue needs little space to thrive, with a tall, upright silhouette that moonlights as a border hedge or fresh focal point in your garden. With additional maintenance, it can even thrive in containers. Because it’s organically-grown and meticulously nurtured from the start, your new Tifblue Blueberry Bush won’t require harsh sprays, chemicals or a green thumb.

Enjoy the beauty and bounty of the organically-crafted Tifblue Blueberry Bush – order yours today!

Excellent plants.
Received two of these plants along with four other types of blueberry plants. They arrived as promised and we planted the next day. They are doing well and unexpectedly have a few blueberries on the small bushes. Very happy with our order.

First year, we have berries!
We purchased/planted in the fall. Once a week I would fertilize with some organic concentrated fertilizer from Amazon:

By the spring time these plants look great and already have berries! Very impressed! Will purchase more this year again.

My Tifblue bushes were very healthy looking and pruned well when I received them. I planted them in good mended soil and gave them plenty of water and they are now thriving. Also the service from Fast Growing -Trees was excellent.

Planting & Care

It's Easy to Plant & Care for Your Tifblue Blueberry - USDA Organic

Step 1: Dig Your Hole

Select a site with full to partial sun and moist or well drained soil for your Tifblue Blueberry - USDA Organic.

First, dig each hole so that it is just shallower than the root ball and at least twice the width.

Then loosen the soil in the planting hole so the roots can easily break through.

Use your shovel or try dragging the points of a pitch fork along the sides and bottom of the hole.

Planting & Care

Step 2: Place Your Plant

Next, separate the roots of your Tifblue Blueberry - USDA Organic gently with your fingers and position them downward in the hole.

The top of the root flare, where the roots end and the trunk begins, should be about an inch above the surrounding soil.

Then make sure the plant is exactly vertical in the hole.

To make it just right, use a level.

Step 3: Backfill Your Hole

As you backfill the hole, apply water to remove air pockets.

Remove debris like stones and grass and completely break up any dirt clumps.

Water your Tifblue Blueberry - USDA Organic again after the transplant is complete.

Do the leaves fall off during winter in Zone 8?
Cindy M on May 12, 2018
BEST ANSWER: We are in Zone 8. We purchased ours in the fall, and most of the leaves were gone by winter but now we have berries! Very impressed! However, if you're asking about annual leaf loss, I'm not sure yet...
