An Attractive and Entertaining Miniature Evergreen

Shimpaku Juniper Bonsais are exotic trees native to Japan and now they bring their oriental beauty to your landscape. Once your Shimpaku Juniper arrives you will be in awe of its flourishing beauty.

Scaley green needles explode on every branch giving you big color on a tiny tree. The vibrant foliage pops against the juniper's greyish trunk to attract the eye to a show of contrasting colors.

The beauty of Shimpaku Junipers only intensifies when blue cone-like berries emerge at the end of branches. Their dusty blue hue shines against the tree's lush green needles for a captivating display, your friends and family will be amazed by your colorful and exciting bonsai.

Just like big junipers, the bark on your Shimpaku Juniper bonsai will turn red and shed away as it ages. Shumpaku Junipers are a delight to watch because they are always doing something new and colorful.

Shimpaku Juniper Bonsais arrive in a decorative container, color may vary. They also arrive with a humidity tray and deco rocks so they can instantly be put on display. Their compact size allows them to fit on any counter or tabletop.

Place your Shimpaku anywhere on your deck or patio to add brilliant colors and décor to the outdoor space. Once you have placed your tree in the perfect spot it becomes hands free, because Shimpaku Juniper Bonsais are extremely low maintenance.

Simply water your bonsai once every one to two weeks when the soil feels dry to the touch and watch it thrive.

When temperatures start to become freezing insulate your Shimpaku Juniper's roots by spreading a layer of mulch or pine straw around its pot. Also, you can bring your bonsai inside during the winter, and place it by a large sunny window.

We took care of the hard work for you because each Shimpaku Juniper Bonsai is trained by hand for six years. This process ensures that you receive a mature bonsai that's ready to prosper in its new environment.

Due to the six-year training process, Shimpaku Juniper Bonsais are in limited supply. Be sure to order yours today, before they are all gone.

Planting & Care

It's Easy to Plant & Care for Your Shimpaku Juniper Bonsai

Step 1: Dig Your Hole

Select a site with full to partial sun and moist or well drained soil for your Shimpaku Juniper Bonsai .

First, dig each hole so that it is just shallower than the root ball and at least twice the width.

Then loosen the soil in the planting hole so the roots can easily break through.

Use your shovel or try dragging the points of a pitch fork along the sides and bottom of the hole.

Planting & Care

Step 2: Place Your Plant

Next, separate the roots of your Shimpaku Juniper Bonsai gently with your fingers and position them downward in the hole.

The top of the root flare, where the roots end and the trunk begins, should be about an inch above the surrounding soil.

Then make sure the plant is exactly vertical in the hole.

To make it just right, use a level.

Step 3: Backfill Your Hole

As you backfill the hole, apply water to remove air pockets.

Remove debris like stones and grass and completely break up any dirt clumps.

Water your Shimpaku Juniper Bonsai again after the transplant is complete.
