Product Description

Super Herb and Landscape Favorite

Why Lemon Grass Plants?

The tall, perennial Lemon Grass Plant grows quickly and emits a citrus scent (and flavor!) you'll love. It's known as a natural insect repellant, but it's a versatile pick that's also ideal for cooking.

Use your Lemon Grass stalks to flavor stir-fry, soups, sauces, and more. The culinary uses are limitless! Its leaves and stalks are chocked full of vitamins A, B, C, & E and are a great source of potassium, magnesium, and zinc.

Even better? It's a survival plant. The oil of the Lemon Grass plant is a natural antibacterial and antifungal agent, and is used in many homeopathic formulas.

Why Fast-Growing-Trees.com is Better

So, you get a fresh scent, kitchen favorite and easy, effortless growth. But the best part is we've planted, grown and shipped our Lemon Grasses with absolute care. That means you get a well-rooted, healthy variety delivered right to your door.

You won't get that experience from other nurseries or local big box stores. Don't wait - order your Lemon Grass Plant today!

Planting & Care

1. Planting: Select an area with well-drained soil and full sun - about 6 to 8 hours of sunlight per day, and avoid locations with strong winds or rain.

When you're ready to plant, dig a hole twice as wide and about 2 inches deeper than the root ball. Place the Lemon Grass, back fill the soil and water thoroughly when planting is complete.

2. Watering: When the top of the soil feels dry, water your Lemon Grass. You may need to water more often in hot and dry conditions, but generally, checking your soil for dryness, and watering when the first 2 inches of soil is dry, is best.

3. Fertilizing: Fertilize in the spring and again in the fall with 10-5-5 or 20-10-10. Always follow manufacturer’s label directions.

Lemongrass Plant

The plant came in great condition. I followed the recommendation for acclimating it to my environment. I replanted it the other day and it continues to flourish.

BE CAREFUL!

This is a wonderful plant but it will take over your garden! It will become HUGE and impossible to ****. It's growth can be at the expense of your other plants in its location. The plant is so tough I needed to yank the plant and its deep taproot out of my bed with my truck!.
