Fiery Red Blooms For The Holidays

Red Lion Amaryllis are a popular blooming plant to have indoors during the holiday season because they produce large, beautiful, fiery red blooms that can't be matched.

The bright shade of red on every petal matches with red holiday décor like poinsettias, red stockings, and ornaments. Place your Red Lion Amaryllis anywhere and watch as the stunning blooms attract everyone's attention.

Or even better, gift Red Lion Amaryllises to loved ones so they can watch this exciting flowering plant take off. Each Amaryllis arrives as a bulb, complete with a decorative pot with a saucer to collect draining water, and soil. Every tool needed for blooming success is included.

With their compact containers Red Lion Amaryllises can be placed anywhere, on any table, counter or desktop. With their ability to survive in low light conditions they will bloom no matter what surface they are placed on.

Once the bulb is planted and watered, a stalk will quickly emerge and in a couple weeks vibrant red blooms will open within a few days of each other. Some Red Lion Amaryllises even bloom twice.

While other boring gifts fall by the wayside, Red Lion Amaryllises provide a constant entertaining show, as they seem to grow taller everyday. Plus with the low maintenance nature of amaryllises no work is involved. Your loved ones get to simply plant their Red Lion Amaryllis and enjoy its vibrant color.

Red Lion Amaryllises are seasonal and supplies are limited. Be sure to order yours today before they are all gone.

Planting & Care

It's Easy to Plant & Care for Your Red Lion Amaryllis

Step 1: Dig Your Hole

Select a site with full to partial sun and moist or well drained soil for your Red Lion Amaryllis.

First, dig each hole so that it is just shallower than the root ball and at least twice the width.

Then loosen the soil in the planting hole so the roots can easily break through.

Use your shovel or try dragging the points of a pitch fork along the sides and bottom of the hole.

Planting & Care

Step 2: Place Your Plant

Next, separate the roots of your Red Lion Amaryllis gently with your fingers and position them downward in the hole.

The top of the root flare, where the roots end and the trunk begins, should be about an inch above the surrounding soil.

Then make sure the plant is exactly vertical in the hole.

To make it just right, use a level.

Step 3: Backfill Your Hole

As you backfill the hole, apply water to remove air pockets.

Remove debris like stones and grass and completely break up any dirt clumps.

Water your Red Lion Amaryllis again after the transplant is complete.
