Spring-to-Fall Interest on a Compact Habit

Why Spring Glory® Serviceberry Trees?

Imagine visual interest nearly year-round, delivering big color in a small package. With the Spring Glory® Serviceberry, you get spring blooms that give way to summer fruit, perfect for making jams and jellies.

Finally, brilliant fall hues take center stage later in the year, giving you the best yard on the block. From its eye-catching white blooms that attract bees and hummingbirds to your garden to its hardy, tough growth, the Spring Glory® does it all.

Why is Better

Aside from its symphony of color, your Serviceberry is better because of its strong start. When you order your Serviceberry from our nursery, you get a healthier root system and more developed branching from day one. Since we’ve planted and meticulously grown your tree to adapt and acclimate well to your homescape, you get a head start.

Now, you reap the rewards of unmatched growth and a versatile tree that does it all. Order your own Spring Glory® Serviceberry Tree today!

Planting & Care

1. Planting: First, find an area with full sun and well-drained soil. Any area that receives about 6 to 8 hours of sunlight should suffice. Once you’ve selected a location, dig a hole that’s around twice the size of your tree’s root ball. Then, place the tree, tamp down the soil and water to settle the roots.

2. Watering: We recommend watering about once weekly for the best results. If you’re not sure when to water, check the soil about 2 or 3 inches down. If the soil is dry in this area, it’s time to water.

3. Fertilizing: Fertilize your tree after it starts blooming, preferably with a well-balanced fertilizer once or twice yearly.

4. Pruning: Lightly prune or sizing and shaping purposes. To encourage a stronger root system, you may pick off the faded blooms or fruit – this allows your tree to focus on establishing its roots.

Time will tell. So far so good...

Ordered in early Fall. I love amelanchier trees because they're so pretty, don't take over your garden, are great for wildlife and berries are tasty...if you get to them before birds do. This baby arrived healthy, with a few leaves still attached, and within the '4-5' range listed (from top of rootball). I soaked it for a few hours before planting it out the next day in a corner of our garden bed, sheltered from any strong winds. I only wish it did not have such a thin trunk (small caliper), but luckily it came with a bamboo stick to help keep it straight. Am very much looking forward to watching it grow and flourish. I'll update after Spring '23. *I do recommend purchasing the 1 yr. warranty because mother nature is unpredictable.

Service berry trees

Timely delivery. Ordered two trees. One was in perfect shape. The burlap on the other was ripped or deteriorated which resulted in the dirt to fall away from the roots. Planted it with supplementary soil and watered in. Will see how it does.

So far, so good

Arrived with one branch broken so it looks a bit strange; however, it is alive and has buds so hoping it will be much better in the Spring.

I didn't buy one it was already in the yard. I just love it. Flowers fruit and birds. I added mulch to keep moisture going. On hot days I do give it water, it is about 15 feet tall and formed a canopy. Just beautiful.
