Radiant Golden Dwarf Tree for All Landscapes
The Beijing Gold Ginkgo Tree is a highly unusual yet elegant dwarf tree with a mesmerizing golden display. During springtime, this tree stands out as new leaves unfurl with buttery yellow and creamy white tones. Imagine how perfectly the soft, golden colors will accent your blue flowers, evergreens and pink blossoms! In summer, the golden yellow transforms into dark green with brushes of white that reflect the sun.
And then during autumn, you’ll be blown away by the bright yellow that stands out in a stunning display:
· Naturally dwarf: Slowly growing to 10-13 feet, the Beijing Gold grows to a manageable size that's perfect for tight spaces.
· No pests or diseases: This ancient tree has been around for millennia and loves to grow with a thriving, healthful history.
· Great for container growing: Want to accent your porch or patio? The Beijing Gold Ginkgo Tree grows wonderfully in a container.
And because this Beijing Gold is a male variety, you won't have to deal with the foul-smelling fruit that precludes most homeowners from owning the ancient, easy-growing Ginkgo.
Best of all, this coveted tree is highly adaptable and versatile. It's tolerant of urban conditions and salt, so you can enjoy this unique tree no matter where you live. And the easy-to-manage size makes it ideal for growing in even the smallest yards.
Order yours today to accent your colorful garden or add an outstanding highlight to a smaller yard!
Planting & Care
Plant your Beijing Gold Ginkgo in well-drained soil in a spot that is protected from hot, afternoon sun (partial shade). Plant in a hole twice is wide, but just as deep as the root ball. Add mulch if desired to retain moisture and prevent weed growth. Water deeply after planting to settle the roots.
Watering: Watering is only necessary during dry periods, especially while it is establishing.
Fertilization: You do not need to add a fertilizer. Ginkgos are slow-growing, but fertilizer will not speed up the growing process.
Pruning: No pruning is necessary.
Pest and Diseases: Ginkgo’s are not effected by any pests or diseases.
Estimated Shipping Time: Most orders ship immediately. As noted on the website, some items are seasonal, and may only ship in spring or fall. Once your order is shipped, you'll receive an email with a tracking number.
