The Easiest Flowering Bulb To Grow

The Minerva Amaryllis provides outstanding blooms to impress family members and guests during the holidays with their large size and stunning color.

Each enormous bloom has a white as snow center with bright red edges on every petal. The white and red hues combine to give this amaryllis the perfect look for the holidays.

Minerva Amaryllises look like giant peppermints, and their red matches with holiday décor commonly found around the home, like tinsel and red ornaments.

With its compact container, and ability to thrive in both bright and low light conditions the Minerva Amaryllis can be placed anywhere, either as the focal point or as accent pieces for holiday décor.

We have included everything that you need because each Amaryllis arrives as a bulb, complete with a decorative pot, saucer to catch draining water, and soil. Simply water the bulb and watch your flowers take off.

The Minerva Amaryllis is the perfect gift to give during the holiday season. Your family and friends will be amazed when they plant their bulbs and watch the stalk grow almost instantly.

Stalks emerge from the soil line within a few days of being watered, and then before you know it large blooms emerge within a few weeks. Sometimes they will even bloom twice.

Best of all, the Minerva Amaryllis is a hands free gift. All it needs is a little water to flourish. With its low maintenance nature spectators get to sit back and enjoy the show.

Minerva Amaryllises sell out fast during the holiday season. We recommend ordering yours today.

Planting & Care

It's Easy to Plant & Care for Your Minerva Amaryllis

Step 1: Dig Your Hole

Select a site with full to partial sun and moist or well drained soil for your Minerva Amaryllis.

First, dig each hole so that it is just shallower than the root ball and at least twice the width.

Then loosen the soil in the planting hole so the roots can easily break through.

Use your shovel or try dragging the points of a pitch fork along the sides and bottom of the hole.

Planting & Care

Step 2: Place Your Plant

Next, separate the roots of your Minerva Amaryllis gently with your fingers and position them downward in the hole.

The top of the root flare, where the roots end and the trunk begins, should be about an inch above the surrounding soil.

Then make sure the plant is exactly vertical in the hole.

To make it just right, use a level.

Step 3: Backfill Your Hole

As you backfill the hole, apply water to remove air pockets.

Remove debris like stones and grass and completely break up any dirt clumps.

Water your Minerva Amaryllis again after the transplant is complete.
