The Perfect Bonsai for Growing Indoors

The Golden Gate Ficus is one of the easiest plants to grow inside. It's the perfect plant for the home or office because it can handle a variety of different lighting conditions and environments causing it to be one of the most low maintenance bonsai trees available.

This low maintenance mini tree will brighten any space with its exotic look. Golden Gate Ficus Bonsais have been trained by hand so their smooth grey trunks have a unique 'S' shape. Their shape causes them to have an alluring appeal, your friends and family will ask you about your bonsai time and time again.

Prepare for year around beauty because this miniature tree is an evergreen. It keeps its lush, dark green, oval shaped leaves all year. The dark green leaves pop against the bonsai's grey trunk which gives them an attractive display.

The Golden Gate Ficus is a compact tree that can fit on any surface. You won't have to wait to put it on display because it arrives in a decorative pot, color may vary, along with a humidity tray and deco rocks. All you will have to do is open the box and decide where to place your new bonsai.

We have already done the hard part for you, by training your tree for four years. This training process ensures that you receive a mature miniature tree that has been trained to stay small and flourish in indoor spaces.

To become a bonsai master simply care for your low maintenance tree by placing it near a sunny window and watering it once the top soil starts to feel dry to the touch. Golden Gate Ficus Trees will benefit from being outside during the summer until temperatures dip to around 50 degrees.

Because this bonsai is the perfect mini tree for beginners it's selling out fast. Be sure to order yours today, before they are all gone.

Planting & Care

It's Easy to Plant & Care for Your Golden Gate Ficus Bonsai

Step 1: Dig Your Hole

Select a site with full to partial sun and moist or well drained soil for your Golden Gate Ficus Bonsai .

First, dig each hole so that it is just shallower than the root ball and at least twice the width.

Then loosen the soil in the planting hole so the roots can easily break through.

Use your shovel or try dragging the points of a pitch fork along the sides and bottom of the hole.

Planting & Care

Step 2: Place Your Plant

Next, separate the roots of your Golden Gate Ficus Bonsai gently with your fingers and position them downward in the hole.

The top of the root flare, where the roots end and the trunk begins, should be about an inch above the surrounding soil.

Then make sure the plant is exactly vertical in the hole.

To make it just right, use a level.

Step 3: Backfill Your Hole

As you backfill the hole, apply water to remove air pockets.

Remove debris like stones and grass and completely break up any dirt clumps.

Water your Golden Gate Ficus Bonsai again after the transplant is complete.
