Excellent Condition
I received mine in late November - excellent packing. It was actually much more mature than I expected. I can't wait until you get more in stock as I would love one for my office too!

I learned the hard way...
First one died, replacement's doing GREAT! Here's what they need: Full light (I have northern but bright), good drainage (I use a sealed bottom planter but with a big layer of pebbles and a membrane over it), water lightly but often (I do every three days) -- don't soak, mist every day. I read these are rain forest plants; that's what they like. Enjoy!

Amazing quality!
This is my 3rd fiddle leaf fig tree in my house, I love them, but have had a hard time finding a "tree" version locally (only bushes)! This arrived with TONS of new growth, in beautiful condition and only 1 cracked leaf. I replanted it in a larger plastic pot and popped it into a seagrass basket with some Spanish moss on top to cover the dirt.

Damaged :(
Still pretty disappointed by how badly it was packed during the shipment. It’s not fully recovered a month later :(

I thought the tree looked good when it came. There were damaged leaves which I expected. However a week later, I started getting leaf droppings. The young top leaves stopped growing. I contacted customer service and they were good at answering my questions. They said because of the trauma of shipping, it will be stunted for some time. However it’s been about 2-3 months now, and the leaves have not grown a bit. I bought some fiddle leaf fig at Home Depot and it’s growing like crazy and there are no damaged leaves. The tree that I got from fast growing tree looks sickly compared to the one I got at Home Depot. Makes me so sad.

Customer service has been great answering my questions but that won’t really make my tree look better or repair its leaves.

Love these design beauties!
I bought 2! The first ones I received were frozen beyond rehabilitation (they were in transit when hit by a nor’easter). FGT saw pictures and immediately sent replacements. Customer service was great. Now I have my plants am in love!!! They are beautiful and thriving and I’m actually on the site because now I want 2 more!!
Still need to transplant but wanted to stabilize them first
Had to trim a few broken leaves but you can see it is still quite lush

Happy Tree
I ordered the Fiddle Fig Tree in February and put it in a corner near a NE facing window. It was doing ok but I noticed some browning on the edges . Moved it to a SW facing window after a month and the tree is much happier. It's doing great now. I have ordered 5 different products from Fast growing trees and wouldn't hesitate to order more. They are a great company supplying great products.

We'll see how it goes
The plant arrived today. A bit smaller than I thought (about 3' tall ) for the money. It was in vary good shape except for a minor chewed leaf, no big deal. We'll see how things go.

Planting & Care

It's Easy to Plant & Care for Your Fiddle-Leaf Fig Tree

Fiddle-Leaf Fig Tree Planting Diretions

Your Fiddle-Leaf Fig tree needs lots of indirect, bright light. The best place for your plant is near an east facing windowing that is free from drafts. Cold, dry air from an AC or window/door will be harmful to your tree. Fiddle-Leaf trees acclimate to conditions very well, but do not like to be moved around.

Potting Instructions: Plant your Fiddle Leaf Fig tree in a pot that is 12-14 inches in diameter. You'll want to give the roots room to grow. Use well-drained peaty soil. Make sure your pot has proper drainage holes. You can place your pot on top of a base with stones to prevent spills and allow for proper moisture containment.

Re-potting: Do not allow the roots to become over-crowded. Check the drainage holes to make sure your roots are not poking out. Re-pot as needed to allow the Fiddle-Leaf to grow (usually once a year).

Watering: Allow the top layer of the soil to dry out completely, and then water deeply until water begins to drain. Repeat this process as needed. If the bottom leaves are turning brown or yellow, you are over-watering. If the top leaves turn brown, you  are under-watering. Spritz leaves with water in the dry winter months or throughout the year if you live in a dry climate.

Fertilization: Feed with a water-soluble fertilizer once in the spring and every month in the summer.

Pests: You may see aphids, mites and insects on your plant, but it is not usually a problem. If you do, spray a solution of 1/2 teaspoon of dish soap and 1 gallon of water on the leaves.

Dusting: Fiddle-Leaf Fig Tree leaves do collect dust, so be sure to keep your tree healthy by wiping down the leaves as needed with a dust cloth.

I bought this as an anniversary gift for my cousins, Darrell and Tabitha, because they have a new house, and this plant is lovely, hardy and easy to care for. This is a couple who already has everything.I did not know enough about their tastes to pick something that specifically caters to them. I think anyone would like this tree for a gift, provided they have room in their place like these two do.

I have been wanting a fiddle-leaf fig tree for ever!!! I hope it arrives as nice as it looks on-line. If it does, I will be happy to leave a positive review of my experience at this site.
Thank you,

I like a columnar tree for the corners of my house; the fiddle leaf fits that need. Also, the tree is beautiful and easy to care for. They're fast-growing, and needs water only once a week. My tree in the dining room is not so well-lighted, but I put a nightlight underneath and it seems to live happily with the arrangement. I'm confident these two additions will thrive as well.
Lolita M on Mar 31, 2018
Highly recommended by my decorator to fill a particular empty spot in my den and seems to be hardy and easy for growing indoors.

Do they produce fruit?
A Mann on Dec 14, 2017
BEST ANSWER: It can produce fruit but not when it is grown indoors (its more for ornamental when grown inside) and the fruit it would produce outdoors would not be edible.
What is a good fertilizer for this plant?
Ben-jam-in on Jan 28, 2018
BEST ANSWER: I add Schultz liquid Plant Food when I water.
Should I remove the bamboo stick that came tied to the tree? (I assume it is to keep it straight)
farah n on Apr 7, 2018
BEST ANSWER: I haven’t removed it and it’s been a couple months but I was told I could. I wouldn’t remove it until you know they’re healthy and growing and do it cautiously.
can these fiddle leaf trees be put outside in the summer?
Linda P on Apr 2, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Mine were not growing in the house at all. Around May I put them on my wrap around porch southern exposure but no direct sunlight in them. Bright indirect light. They suddenly started growing like mad, putting out one beautiful glossy leaf after another. One of the two has grown at least 1.5 feet in height since then. I’m going to leave them out through Sept and bring them in. So pleased I seem to have stumbled on the perfect growing conditions. The leaves will burn here in the hot west in direct sunlight. Open shade works good. I also wash their leaves down with a gentle spray when I water them. Good luck!
How many feet is this?
Veveforlife on Mar 9, 2018
BEST ANSWER: We we received ours it was about 3 1/2 - 4 feet tall. It has grown well over a foot in the last 3 months.
