The Houseplant Everyone is Talking About!

Hailed by the New York Times as the "It" tree of the design world, the Fiddle-Leaf Fig is quickly becoming the most wanted houseplant of the decade.

The standout feature is definitely the big, glossy, violin-shaped leaves… hence the name Fiddle-Leaf.

Perfectly contrasted against a thin trunk, this whimsically classic tree will instantly add style to any room in your house.

Originally grown under the canopy of the African rainforests, your tree will fit in perfectly with the natural, indirect light of your home.

Growing to 6-10 ft., you can add drama and contrast to any dull corner or space in your home.

Extremely adaptable and easy to take care of…

The Fiddle-Leaf tells you what it needs… All you have to do is pay attention to the color of the leaves to know if you're watering it correctly.

Why should you get a Fiddle-Leaf Fig for your home?

      ·  All the top designers love this tree, so you can be sure it's the perfect plant to add style to your home.

      ·  It's a natural sculpture… the balance of negative space and dense leaves makes this tree a work of art!

Planting & Care

It's Easy to Plant & Care for Your Fiddle-Leaf Fig Tree

Fiddle-Leaf Fig Tree Planting Diretions

Your Fiddle-Leaf Fig tree needs lots of indirect, bright light. The best place for your plant is near an east facing windowing that is free from drafts. Cold, dry air from an AC or window/door will be harmful to your tree. Fiddle-Leaf trees acclimate to conditions very well, but do not like to be moved around.

Potting Instructions: Plant your Fiddle Leaf Fig tree in a pot that is 12-14 inches in diameter. You'll want to give the roots room to grow. Use well-drained peaty soil. Make sure your pot has proper drainage holes. You can place your pot on top of a base with stones to prevent spills and allow for proper moisture containment.

Re-potting: Do not allow the roots to become over-crowded. Check the drainage holes to make sure your roots are not poking out. Re-pot as needed to allow the Fiddle-Leaf to grow (usually once a year).

Watering: Allow the top layer of the soil to dry out completely, and then water deeply until water begins to drain. Repeat this process as needed. If the bottom leaves are turning brown or yellow, you are over-watering. If the top leaves turn brown, you  are under-watering. Spritz leaves with water in the dry winter months or throughout the year if you live in a dry climate.

Fertilization: Feed with a water-soluble fertilizer once in the spring and every month in the summer.

Pests: You may see aphids, mites and insects on your plant, but it is not usually a problem. If you do, spray a solution of 1/2 teaspoon of dish soap and 1 gallon of water on the leaves.

Dusting: Fiddle-Leaf Fig Tree leaves do collect dust, so be sure to keep your tree healthy by wiping down the leaves as needed with a dust cloth.
