Pollination Info
Fignomenal Fig Tree Pollination
Fignomenal Fig Trees are self-fertile. You will get fruit with only one plant. However, adding an additional Fignomenal Fig Tree will drastically increase the size of your crop.
Planting & Care
1. Planting: Select an area with well-drained soil and full to partial sun (4 to 8 hours of sunlight per day). Then, plant your Fignomenal Fig in a hole twice as wide and nearly as deep as the root's ball, and water after planting.
If you plant in a container to bring inside during winter, select a pot that’s about twice the width of your plant’s shipped container. Also, ensure the pot has drainage holes. Use organic planting mix, place your tree in the pot, and then water until you see water flowing from the drainage holes. Finally, place your Fig Tree in front of a sunny window indoors.
2. Watering: Feel the soil about 2 or 3 inches down – if it’s dry, you should water the tree. Once your tree is established, you can water every week or every 2 weeks in milder weather.
3. Pruning: Prune back any dead or diseased branches after the second harvest in summer or fall. To maintain the size of your tree in your yard or pot, prune to your desired size for the first three years. Established trees should not require much pruning.

to soon to tell
Still winter. No sign of growth. Other than that I am pleased with my order.

It's normal for the plant to be leafless in the Winter months, but as the temperatures warm up it will push out lots of new growth!

Cute little fig
I bought this for my moms birthday and when it arrived the plant had no leaves and was very bent. I emailed fast growing trees and they explained it was okay that it didn’t have leaves but since it was bent and the roots were all over the place they would send another. The new one came and we planted it and right away the leaves shot out! It looks great and hopefully grows over the next few months.

We're happy we could make this right!

Fig tree
I was a little worried when it first arrived. Had brown spots on the leaves and a couple wounded leaves too. However after putting it in a new pot with the soil I purchased from you and trimmed the damaged leaves it came back. Now looks like it's going to take off. The brown spots completely gone. I love it!

We're so glad to hear that your fig tree is doing well! Excessive heat and humidity can cause some spotting in the Summer but we always treat our plants while in our care to ensure anything you see upon delivery is purely cosmetic. Please reach out if we can help with anything!

Doing Fignomenally Well
My tree has already more than doubled in size in a little under 4 months. It looks really vigorous and healthy. No fruit just yet, but I am sure we will get some next year. Figs are so beautiful and lush. I grow several in pots on my patio. Fignomenal is a good addition. I can't wait to taste the fruit.
