    It's Alive

Not really doing anything in a month or so, but it's still alive.

Fast Growing Trees Plant ExpertWe're happy your Sugarloaf Pineapple is still alive, Randal! Slow or no growth in the first month is completely normal as pineapple plants prioritize root establishment. Do a quick scratch or bend test to confirm green flexible tissue. Make sure it's in the brightest spot possible with 6 or more hours of direct sun or a grow light. Check soil moisture 1 to 2 inches down before watering and avoid overwatering. Hold off on fertilizing until new growth appears. Be patient and it should start showing progress soon. We're here to help anytime!
