Product Description

Willow-Like Foliage, Easy-Growing Oak Benefits

Why Willow Oak Trees?

Merging the elegance of the Willow Tree with the easy, fast-growing shade of your favorite neighborhood Oak, the Willow Oak Tree imparts grace and vibrant green hues to your landscape.

Willow-like leaves emerge light to bright green in summer, transitioning to yellow and red in the fall. And unlike similar varieties, it stands up to tough conditions, so you get beauty and brawn from the Willow Oak.

It stands up to poorly-drained soil, so it's perfect for those finicky spots in your yard prone to flooding. From swampy areas in the corner of your garden to front-yard focal points, the Willow Oak Tree grows above and beyond.

Why Fast-Growing-Trees.com is Better

But the best part of your Willow Oak? We've planted, grown and nurtured each tree with absolute care, so you reap the rewards of our hard work in your own landscape. We deliver a better-developed, healthier tree than what's available at big-box or local garden centers, all right to your door.

That means no guesswork in growing for you.

You get all of the benefits with none of the hassle. Get your own Willow Oak Tree!

Planting & Care

1. Planting: Plant your Willow Oak in a spot in your yard that receives at least 6 hours of direct sunlight each day. Pick a spot that will give this tree plenty of room to grow.

Dig a hole large enough to accommodate the tree's root ball. After you plant the tree, tamp down the soil until it is firm. Thoroughly water the base of the tree, so that water penetrates the roots. Spread a good amount of mulch around the base of the tree to retain moisture.

2. Watering: Water the tree to keep the ground moist. Watering deeply, once a week, should be enough to help your young tree establish roots. Once your tree matures, you only need to water in the dry seasons where you get less than 1 inch of rainfall each month.

3. Fertilizing: If you notice that your tree is not growing steadily every year, you can add a general-purpose fertilizer once a year.

I recommend this product

These trees are beautiful & very large oaks

Planted one of these in my front yard in 2012. When I got it, the trunk was about 4 inches thick and it was about 8 ft high. My neighbor helped me put it in the ground by hand because rootball was the heavy part. Planted top of rootball flush w the ground. Today, it stands over 40 ft high and the trunk spand about 14-16 inches wide. It is a pretty huge tree, but the acorns are tiny, like marble size. No problems w disease or insects. This tree is a great addition to the front yard, but may not be for everyone because they grow So big? Roots are not invasive either.

Small tree-purchase the largest tree you can afford

Purchased this tree as I have a very large area to fill. I purchased the largest tree available and after 6 days in a shipping box it was not in very good condition. It took awhile for it to come around but seems to be doing well.

Willow Oak Tree (2) @ 6'-7'

Great! Shipped out quickly and arrived in NJ two days later in excellent condition. Planted about 10 days ago and they both seem to be doing quite well.
