Gorgeous Pink and White Hydrangea Perfect for Container Growing

Everything about the Tivoli Hydrangea is stunning. From the rosy pink blooms outlined in a thick, creamy white, to the large, handsome, dark green leaves, the Tivoli is a showstopper. The full, colorful arrangement will impress anyone who sees them in your garden.

The pink and white blooms fill your garden from June to September. Your yard will be full of life and color all throughout the summer as your Pink Tivoli blossoms. The dark green leaves and rosy petals make an excellent contrast against your evergreen plants. Plant near other flowering shrubs for a pop of exciting summery color.

From the cold of Chicago to the heat of Atlanta, the Tivoli thrives. Resistant to a light freeze and tolerant of fairly hot temperatures, your Pink Tivoli Hydrangea can flourish in most conditions. By adapting the amount of shade your flowers receive to the amount of heat you get, you can create the perfect environment for your Tivoli.

Even if you live in colder zones, you can still enjoy the Tivoli in a container. This hydrangea only grows to a compact and manageable 3-4 ft. Its small size makes it an excellent container plant. Whether you want to protect your plant from deeper freezes or you want the freedom to move your plant around, you can easily take care of your Pink Tivoli Hydrangea in a container.

Draw in delightful pollinators to your yard with your Tivoli Hydrangea. You won't be the only one who can't stop looking at the captivating colors of the Tivoli; pollinators love the bright pink flowers. You can bring in butterflies, hummingbirds and beneficial bees to any spot in your garden with these blooms. Summertime will be full of excitement as you watch all the precious pollinators dance around the rosy pink and white flowers.

Just plant your flowers and watch them grow. The Pink Tivoli Hydrangea isn't very picky. With the right amount of sun, shade and water, your plant will thrive. There's no need to worry about fragile soil conditions or constant fertilizing. Even the annual pruning is easy enough for a beginner to manage.

After summer ends, you can still enjoy the sweetheart colors of the Tivoli. These hydrangea blooms are easy to dry. Once they’ve dried on the branch, they still retain some of their color. You can cut them off, keep them dry and add an easy autumn décor to your home. Your guests will love the summery feel your dried flowers bring to your home in the fall.

You'll want more than just one. The manageable size of the Pink Tivoli Hydrangea gives it nearly endless uses in your home and garden. From adding pops of color to dull spots around your home, to complementing taller flowering plants, you'll want to place your Tivolis everywhere. While some hydrangeas grow and grow, these compact flowers will remain full and small for their entire life. Don't miss your opportunity to purchase these sought-after hydrangeas. Order yours today.

Planting & Care

Outdoor Planting Instructions: Your Tivoli Hydrangea will grow best in moist, well-drained soil. There's no need to amend your soil when planting. Don't plant your flowers near any other trees root system. The key to successfully growing your Tivoli is planting it in a spot that receives the right amount of shade for your area. If you live in a colder area, plant your Tivoli Hydrangea near a South or West facing building wall. The sun will reflect off of the wall and heat your plant during colder months. If you live in a warmer area, plant in a spot that will get at least 50% shade. For the hottest areas of zone 9 and even some parts of zone 8, plant in an area that only gets morning light and receives filtered shade for the rest of the day. When planting, be sure to plant the shrub only as deep as it was in the container. Water immediately after planting and place a thick layer of mulch around the base.

Container Planting Instructions: Plant with high-quality potting soil. Make sure your container has drainage holes. Keep the soil at the same level it was at when it arrived. Once planted, firm the soil to eliminate air pockets around the roots. Keep your Tivoli in an area that receives plenty of morning sun and afternoon shade. If you live in a very cold area, bring your plant inside during the coldest freezes. Place it near a South or West facing window. When bringing your Tivoli back outside after the winter, gradually increase the amount of sun the plant receives.

Watering: Water your Hydrangea weekly for the first 6 months. After this time, you will only need to water your plant when you get less than 1" of rain during the week. The mulch should keep the soil moist. Never let your soil dry out completely. It's better to underwater than overwater your Tivoli. If you live in a hot or dry area, keep your soil evenly moist during the hottest months. If you live in a cold area, keep it well-watered in Autumn.

Fertilization: You can fertilize the plant every spring with a 10-10-10 fertilizer. Fertilizing too much will cause the tree to produce more leaves and less blooms, so be careful to only add a little bit each year.

Pruning: Prune only in late autumn or early winter as the flowers begin to fade and dry. Since the Tivoli blooms from old wood, you will inhibit the growth if you prune before then. Remove 1/3 of the oldest stems with each pruning.
