Product Description

Soft Rose Red Flecks on Larger Blooms

Why Snowcicle Hydrangea Shrubs?

Creamy panicles of flowers with soft rose and green pops define the Snowcicle Hydrangea Shrub, a new variety of oakleaf hydrangea that's unlike any other currently on the market. Because each bloom is gracefully suspended on strong stems, you get blooms like never before.

Despite its compact size, the Snowcicle delivers huge color. It even delights in the fall with deep wine and burnt orange color.

And compared to other double-flowered varieties, the Snowcicle has bigger, sturdier branches and better color than ever before. From foundation plantings to accents in your garden or mass borders along your driveway and sidewalk, the Snowcicle imparts unbelievable texture and tone.

But the best part about the Snowcicle Hydrangea Shrub is that it’s a proven performer. Because it’s been planted, grown and shipped with care from our nursery, it’s ready to grow with best results in your own garden. We’ve done the extra work so that you don’t have to!

Excited about this one

I was happy with the size but worried that the leaves were already color changed I was expecting green but could be due to climate change from where it shipped? I'm just hoping it's not fungus on them......but it looks healthy so time will tell.

Snowcicle Hydrangea Shrub

Received 2 of these shrubs, leaves have already turned the red/orange/brown color and it was end of may. Knowing that it may take some time to get the blooms like the pictures show when you purchase these, I cannot wait to see them in my yard. I purchased the Snowcicle Hydrangea shrubs to go along with my other Hydrangeas for a large row of colors.

Great start to my hydrangea project

We have planted all four plants and happy to say they are healthy and thriving. Can’t wait for their blooms to present themselves later in the Summer.

Planting & Care

1. Planting: When it’s time to plant your Snowcicle, choose an area with at least 6 to 8 hours of sunlight per day and well-drained soil. Then, dig a hole that’s at least two to three times wider than the root ball, place the tree, backfill its soil, and lastly, water to help establish its roots.

2. Watering: Typically, you should water your Snowcicle Hydrangea thoroughly about once a week. If you’re not sure when to water, simply check the surrounding soil, down to around 2 or 3 inches. If the soil is dry, it’s time to water.

3. Pruning: Pruning is not necessary, but if you’d like to shape your Snowcicle Oakleaf Hydrangea, prune in late winter or early spring.

4. Fertilizer: Apply a well-balanced, time-released fertilizer once or twice in the summer.
