Double Blooms Grow on New and Old Wood
Why Love Hydrangeas?
Stunning pink double rosettes bloom on new and old wood, distinguishing the Love Hydrangea Shrub from other varieties. Plus, its large blooms contrast perfectly with the Love's unique dark stems and vibrant green foliage, creating a one-of-a-kind look you'll love.
And the Love reblooms...with an encore performance when most other flowers are fading. Even better is the fact that you won't have to spend your time pruning and clipping to encourage blooms since they emerge on new and old wood. From container-planted Love Hydrangeas on your balcony to driveway borders, this variety makes a stunning impression without all the work.
It's disease tolerant too, with fast, vigorous growth that stands up to tough conditions and frigid temperatures down to -10 degrees. In other words, you don't need a green thumb to sustain your Love Hydrangea. So, hours spent toiling in your garden are a thing of the past...your Love delivers an expertly-cultivated, professional landscape look from day one at your home.

Planting & Care
1. Planting: Select an area with full sun (6 to 8 hours of sunlight daily) and well-drained soil.
Dig a hole large enough to accommodate the rootball, place your shrub, backfill, and water to settle the roots.
If you're planting in a container, select a pot that's twice as large as your shipped container and make sure it has drainage holes. Place your Love Hydrangea, use organic soil mix, and find a sunny area on your porch or patio for your plant.
2. Watering: Generally, you will water your Hydrangea once or twice weekly. But if you're not sure when to water, check your soil about 3 inches down - if the soil is dry here, it's time to water.
3. Fertilizing: If you do need to feed it, use a well-balanced blend, like 10-10-10, in the spring before new growth begins.
4. Pruning: It's not required, but your Love can be pruned for shaping and even healthier blooms in its dormant season, during the winter season.
You can still order, but due to cold weather, we have delayed shipping to the areas shaded on the map below. We want your new plant to thrive right out of the box, so we will wait on shipping your order until the weather is ideal. This includes anyone in

Customer Reviews & Photos
Plants arrived in healthy condition albeit dormant. I have yet to put them in the ground due to a surprise/dramatic drop in temperature in the DFW area, but I'm looking forward to seeing them get established and into bloom!
I have killed many hydrangeas. This year I decided to plant one in the ground (Incrediball blush) and one in a pot. I chose the Love Hydrangea for the pot so I could keep a good eye on it and assess, more easily, what attention it needed. My Love Hydrangea plant arrived healthy and in really good shape, so I was very pleased. I chose a larger pot for it, with good drainage and it is doing extremely well!! However, the hydrangea I planted in the ground has some nice blooms on it and the Love Hydrangea shows no sign of blooming at all. It is green and growing. Perhaps I need an even larger container for the root system, or must I wait for next season for it to bloom? Or must I put it in the ground (where I'm sure to **** it)? I'm unsure, but I haven't killed it and that's a "win"!
I haven't had success growing hydrangeas in my landscape (zone 4-5) so I wanted to try growing one in a container. I received this one from my husband for our Anniversary. It was in pretty good shape upon receipt. I chose a clean container and followed planting instructions (especially for container growth) to the letter. At first, it struggled to adjust to its new habitat. I gave it some of my homemade fertilizer and it is doing very well and has new leaf growth. No flower buds, however. I've had it for appx 2 months. I REALLY REALLY look forward to hydrangea flowers so I will keep being attentive to it and see how well it does. So I am pretty happy....
Arrived with my other hydrangeas. All were in very good shape. Excited to see the blooms. Thanks for the first of I hope other orders.
