Why Dura Heat® River Birch Trees?
A beautiful, fast-growing shade tree that thrives from North to South, the Dura Heat® River Birch is one-of-a-kind. This lovely tree grows in cold areas and hot and humid conditions, a span that includes frigid Maine and Minnesota all the way down to hot and humid Florida and Texas.
Plus, River Birches tolerate soggy conditions where other trees won’t grow. If you’re trying to landscape a low-lying area that floods regularly, or you have heavy clay soil, this tree is exactly what you need. Its dense root system tolerates dense, wet soil, and even regular flooding and standing water.
Its fast growth means your landscape fills in quickly. These trees can grow up to three feet each year, so they reach mature heights much faster than other landscape trees. They're also fairly compact and can be planted as a specimen in an urban yard, where they tolerate pollutants with ease.
Why Fast-Growing-Trees.com is Better

Great Experience!
Was skeptical to order a tree online but was very impressed once it arrived. The tree arrived in better shape than local nursery trees. I will be buying all of my shrubs and trees through here.
Loving it!
I will say I was nervous to ship a tree rather than going to a local florist in my area. But I have to say the tree came fast and packaged nicely! I’m located in zone 6 and took a risk planting the tree in March even though the description says to plant after all risk of frost. We did have about 3 frosts so I covered the tree to be safe and it was resilient! It has already grown about a foot and the leaves are fully showing. The tree being still young withstands the high winds in my area really well. I can’t wait to see how the tree will look a year from now and years to come. Very happy with my dura heat river birch from fast growing trees and will buy another tree from here again!
Great looking, bigger than expected and full of life
Ordered two 5' trees and while they took a month longer to ship than initially stated, they came very robust and healthy. I planted them almost immediately and they look great a little over 1 week later. They seemed to have attraced Japanese Beetles in my neck of the woods, so I'm dealing with that and learning how to handle the pests, but it's not the trees fault.
Dura Heat River Birch
The tree arrived perfectly packaged and looked great. I wanted two days before planting as I wanted to give the tree a little time yo acclimate. We followed the provided planting instructions, planted, watered on a slow drizzle for3 hours, added the suggested mulch and staked our tree as we get wind periodically. It’s been around 5 days and the tree looks good. As you can see from the photos taken today in my opinion the tree looks fairly unstressed and at least to my untrained eye it seems to be adapting well!
