The Fastest-Growing Symmetrical Sycamore

Why American Sycamore Trees?

The American Sycamore is very popular for residential landscaping because of its extremely fast growth. In fact, the American Sycamore can gain up to 6 feet per year, growing a thick canopy that provides tons of shade quickly.

You can count on your American Sycamore to grow into a full, symmetrical tree. The tree's many branches develop large green leaves that turn to gold in the fall, offering good looks and dense growth. This makes it excellent for shielding your home from hot summer weather or allowing in plenty of sun during winter when you need it most. And the Sycamore develops smooth, white bark in the winter, adding additional seasonal interest when other trees look drab.

So, it’s an energy and money-saver. Even better is the fact that it’s easy to grow too…adaptable to moist soil types, thriving in both warm and cold climates, and growing well with just a bit of water and sun.

Growing great

Got two and so far they are growing great. Planted them around September 2025 and they started getting new growth and leaves this spring April 2026. They are looking great!

Sycamore

Just planted it last week. So far looks good with new growth on the branches. Getting plenty of water here. It arrived quickly and was not damaged. No directions for planting in the box but found them online.

I gave them five stars

I gave them five stars because I believe they made every effort for the tree to arrive safely. Much of the dirt was missing from the bucket, but I blame the FedEX for that event. The tree appears to be healthy. We planted it and it seems to be doing fine. Fingers crossed that it will make it.

Fast Growing Trees Plant ExpertHi Paulette, we’re sorry about the soil loss during transit and will be sure to share this with the carrier for improvement. We appreciate your support and are here anytime if you need assistance.

American Sycamore Trees

The four American Sycamore trees I ordered arrived as scheduled and the trees were in great condition and with healthy roots. Unfortunately, one of the trees had already began to leaf out, which is too early for my zone (6b). Hopefully, this tree makes it through the cold snaps. All trees are being covered during nights when temperatures fall below freezing.
