Want to add the ornamental value of a miniature bonsai to your garden without all the hassle and maintenance…

Look no further than the Mikawa Yatsubusa Japanese Maple.

The unique leaves of this tree are the standout feature…

The rich green leaves are deeply-lobed and elongated and grow close to the trunk in a tufted pattern.

Their growth pattern makes them fan out and overlap each other, creating delightful canopies of branches.

Add this small tree to your Japanese garden or create interest and contrast in shaded areas of your yard.

  • Natural bonsai – Most bonsais require lots of training and pruning, but the unique pattern of the Mikawa Yatsubusa means it will naturally grow into a bonsai shape

  • Perfectly Dwarf-Sized – Growing to only 3-4 ft. tall and 2-3 ft. wide, you can fit this small tree anywhere in your garden.

  • Radiant Fall Display – The scarlet and golden leaves in autumn will add stunning contrast to your garden

This Japanese Maple will add value to any space in your garden…

With 4 seasons of interest, you’ll be mesmerized by this tree all year long.

Small red flowers and seed pods add a pop of brightness against the slate gray bark in winter.

When the leaves appear in spring, their pale-green color is tinted yellow for a subtle, calming display.

The Mikawa Yatsubusa Japanese Maple is a prized tree, and cultivating it requires a skilled craftsman with a delicate touch.

Because of this, the Mikawa Yatsubusa Japanese Maple is in very high demand and will not stay in stock long.

Pruning: This tree is a natural bonsai and does not require pruning, but it you would like to shape and trim, prune before new growth in spring. Be sure to prune just above the new buds.

Fertilizing: Add a ½ strength liquid fertilizer every month during spring and summer after the first year to encourage growth.
