The Fastest Growing Quality Evergreen
Why Thuja Green Giants?
The Thuja Green Giant quickly gives you a lush, rich privacy screen (3-5 feet per year once established). And it's:
- Drought tolerant
- Disease and insect resistant
- Easy-to-grow and very adaptable
You can block out neighbors while taking very little yard space. Thuja Green Giants grow in a uniform shape and height. You get that classic French Renaissance look without having to prune or shear. In fact, you don't have to do anything to them. They're drought tolerant and have no significant insect or disease problems.
Planting in Rows
There are two popular ways to plant your Thuja Green Giants:

How to Get the Height You Want
Follow this spacing chart when planting in a straight row:

So, you'll never have to worry about mixing chemicals or spraying these trees. With proper care, Thujas aren't typically prone to deer or bagworm problems. This is a tough tree. Resists ice and snow damage. Grows in almost any soil, even sandy loam or heavy clays. Prefers direct sunlight, but also does well in partial shade.
The Thuja Green Giant is the perfect fast-growing evergreen for a privacy hedge or windscreen. Plant one every 5 to 6 feet and they quickly create a dense barrier. You can easily trim them once a year to your desired height. Left unpruned, Thuja Green Giants planted in rows can reach as high as 30 to 50 feet. Your Thuja foliage stays soft and thick all year long.
What is a Jumbo Thuja Green Giant Tree?
Jumbo trees are the most mature plants offered at Fast Growing Trees. Thanks to their well-developed root systems and large container size of 10-15 gallons, they deliver superior drought resistance, enhanced mineral absorption, and fuller growth. They're the perfect choice for instant privacy and a more established look in your landscape.
Grown in limited quantities, Jumbos are a premium option for those looking to make an immediate impact in their yard.
Why Fast-Growing-Trees.com is Better
Some nurseries dig Thujas out of the ground and send them bare-rooted, or 'ball and burlap.' This can leave up to 90% of the roots behind. The tree can lose up to a year of growth while struggling to replace its root system. You also risk losing the tree, since it's less able to absorb vital nutrients and water.
Our Thuja Green Giants are hybrids grown from branch cuttings - not from seed. They need to grow below the ground before they can grow above the ground. Some nurseries sell freshly rooted cuttings, which can take up to a year to reach the size and root mass of our trees.
But you can be assured that when you order from Fast Growing Trees, you are getting well-rooted Thuja Green Giants, ready for explosive growth. And for quickest privacy, we now have a limited supply of large trees available. These larger trees offer more developed branching for ready-made privacy in your landscape.

Great trees! Horrible delivery service!
The trees seem wonderful, and surprisingly, unscathed from their terrible delivery. If I could attach a picture to this review, you would fully understand. It was awful. One tree was half out of the package. One was pretty much standing up on its own. The other boxes were dilapidated and piled on top of each other. None of them were “this side up,” like the box says. Every single box was crumpled and / or crushed. I was able to manage to salvage them all by leaning them up straight. After a day or two, they seemed to bounce back. They seem like high quality, decent trees. I can’t blame it on the company, but I should look back to see which delivery service it was.
Glad we purchased!
I am so happy we ordered from you all! We bought the 2-3 foot trees but they were AT LEAST 3 feet and so beautiful! We don't have any trees at our new home so we bought some Thujas to grow fast and block some wind. We planted at the very end of March and can already tell they are growing, and it is the beginning of July! They were very healthy trees and even though we planted them (totally inexperienced landscapers) not one single one died! We are very impressed and still need some more and are definitely going to be using your company again! At this rate, the only thing that would make us love you more is a rewards program! :)
So far things are great. Honestly it's too soon to review.
The arborvitaes arrived quickly and in great shape. We weren't able to plant them upon arrival and added a little water to the pots. They've been planted close to two weeds and even given our above average temperatures and religious watering look to be establishing roots. Hopefully all 40 will thrive. It's hard to give a review this soon after planting.
Good, but found them locally a lot cheaper
