Good product

These seem to protect my new tree plantings fairly well. Not impressed with the plastic stakes. They’re not so easy to maneuver being just plastic and not very long. By the time I get them through the mulch, there’s not much actually going in ground to hold them down. So far they’ve remained standing however -perhaps that’s all they need?

Excellent for my roses!

These are keeping my Otterhound from digging up my expensive roses!! He destroyed a few before I got these, but now...he's denied his dastardly digging!!

Effective and smart design

I had one newly planted tree with winter damage from a rabbit that I was unable to use the typical "tube" variety of protector because it has branches all the way to the ground. This guard is the perfect solution as I can even use two of them to reach all the way around the plant and it lets in light and air. I have another new tree that was extremely slow to come out of winter dormancy that hade a "tube" type of protector on it. As soon as I removed the tube protector and placed this Tree Guard it started to bud. I think the tube protector was restricting the warmth of the sun on the trunk where the guard lets it get warmed up.
