These are keeping my Otterhound from digging up my expensive roses!! He destroyed a few before I got these, but now...he's denied his dastardly digging!!
Good but could have anchor stakes a bit longer only reason for a 4 star is anchor size
I had one newly planted tree with winter damage from a rabbit that I was unable to use the typical "tube" variety of protector because it has branches all the way to the ground. This guard is the perfect solution as I can even use two of them to reach all the way around the plant and it lets in light and air. I have another new tree that was extremely slow to come out of winter dormancy that hade a "tube" type of protector on it. As soon as I removed the tube protector and placed this Tree Guard it started to bud. I think the tube protector was restricting the warmth of the sun on the trunk where the guard lets it get warmed up.
