Note: The Slow Release Watering Ring releases water from two elbow-shaped PVC emitters. If the bag is emptying faster than expected, make sure it is completely full of water and check that the emitter nozzles are inserted correctly and not missing. Placing the bag on a flat surface can help regulate watering; it will drain faster when placed on a slope.

A suggestion for making it more adaptable
This is such a great idea! I’m looking for something similar—but for window boxes, so it would have to be a long and round—you could call it water-log. It would be great and save a lot of money for people who have 2 and 3 story homes with window boxes on every level. We have an auto-water system that has skinny plastic hoses which run in the space between each floor and connected to our water supply; the system operates on a battery powered timer and it provides us with the ability to grow beautiful flowers all summer. The problem is that it’s complicated for and must be set up each spring plus the lines must be blown every fall so that they won’t freeze and leak water into the interior of our house. It’s ridiculous and very expensive to have someone come twice a year in order to have flowers.

Works just fine . This small one is just that. Within a day you are refilling it so it’s just not worth spending the money for it.

This ring makes all the difference. Planting a new tree is a huge commitment these days. The weather is so unpredictable and trying to keep the tree watered is so hard to plan. This is the perfect solution and, no water waste!
Could use a filler thingy
