Why Miracle on the Hudson™ Roses?
Delivering semi-double blooms in true red, the Miracle on the Hudson™ Rose gives you all the beauty of roses without the fuss. That means you won't have to prune, trim or deadhead to get this variety's perfect 4-inch blossoms. But don't just take our word for it - the Miracle on the Hudson™ Rose won the 2014 Biltmore International rose trials for 'Most Outstanding Rose'!
With the Miracle on the Hudson™, you'll have your neighbors marveling at your award-winning, 'professional' rose garden. Its rounded habit and vivid, deep red blooms last from summer to fall, so it's one of the most unique roses on the market today.
Unlike other leggy, lower-maintenance roses, it has a pleasant fragrance and grows full. Named to honor the heroic crew and passengers of Flight 1549, this amazing variety looks and smells gorgeous all summer long! It's no wonder why it attracts pollinators and graceful wildlife like butterflies and hummingbirds to your garden.
And it's a miracle rose for its disease-resistant, cold hardy, and self-cleaning blooms that thrive on neglect. From containers on your patio to border plantings, or even as a flowering hedge, the easy-growing Miracle on the Hudson™ Rose delivers vibrant color and multi-layered blooms hassle-free...the way that other rose varieties can't.
It even withstands temperature extremes down to -30 degrees! Roses that thrive in hot, humid areas and frigid northern climates are almost unheard-of, but the Miracle on the Hudson™ Rose fits the bill. In fact, it won the 2020 American Rose Trials for sustainability and is one of the few roses worldwide to thrive in the coldest northern areas!

Planting & Care
1. Planting: Find a spot with well-drained soil and full sun (6 to 8 hours of sunlight per day).
Plant your rose in a hole twice as wide but just as deep as the root ball. Water immediately to establish roots. Add a 3-inch layer of mulch to prevent weeds.
If you're planting in a container, select a pot that's about twice the size of your plant's shipped container and use organic soil. Place your rose, water to settle its roots, and find a sunny spot on your porch or patio to place your container.
2. Watering: Water weekly, or check the surrounding soil. When the soil is dry about 3 inches down, it's time to water your rose.
If your rose is container-planted, water until you see it flowing from the drainage holes at the bottom.
3. Fertilizing: Feed with a liquid rose fertilizer, once in the spring and once in the summer. Follow the instructions on the package.
4. Pruning: Other than for shaping purposes, no pruning is required.
