Received Bare Root Plants Placed on Top of 3-Gallon Containers
I ordered 3 “Kaleidoscope Abelia Shrub - 3 Gallon” shrubs. When the plants were delivered, all 3 were out of their pots with no soil attached to their roots (hence, the claim of “bare root”), and 3 gallons of soil left in the pots. It is as if the shrubs had been transplanted from smaller containers to the 3-gallon pot JUST prior to shipping to me. Needless to write, all 3 “Kaleidoscope Abelia Shrub - 3 Gallon” shrubs died within the first 30 days. Had the shrubs had time to get established and rooted in the 3-gallon pots, they probably would have survived. Good news is that the warrantee was honored.
