Planting & Care
1. Planting: Plant your White Oak in a spot in your yard that receives at least 4 hours of direct sunlight each day. And pick a spot that will give this tree plenty of room to grow.
From there, dig a hole large enough to accommodate your tree's root ball. After you plant the tree, tamp down the soil until it is firm.Thoroughly water the base of the tree so that water penetrates the roots, and spread a good amount of mulch around the base of the tree to retain moisture.
2. Watering: Water the tree to keep the ground moist. Watering deeply, once a week, should be enough to help your young tree establish roots. Once your tree matures, you only need to water in the dry seasons where you get less than 1 inch of rainfall per month.
3. Fertilizing and Pruning: Fertilizing once a year and occasional pruning to thin overcrowded branches is not necessary for your White Oak to thrive but may be beneficial to ensure larger growth.

- order process
Excellent overall experience. I made my purchase in the late fall. The tree arrived in hardy condition and extremely well packaged. We planted it the day after we received it. It took to the replant very well. It is thriving even in our recent spat of colder weather. It even has its’ leaves and a few have turned a beautiful red.
We ordered a white oak. We received a red oak! Immediately after contacting the company, the wheels were set in motion to right that. We were told to keep the first tree and received the correct tree within a few days. Both arrived in wonderful condition. They were packed well. The trees are really beautiful.
Customer service was great getting the trees ordered. I ordered two 5-6ft white oaks and when I opened the box I had two 5-6ft white oaks that were almost identical. They had dense little rootballs and were nice and straight and fully leafed out. Unfortunately one of the trees had the central leader broke off at about 10" from the top. That bummed me out a little because it's the most important portion of the white oak trunk for its growth habit. Wouldn't have minded if it were one of the side branches because those would get trimmed off most likely anyway. Now I've gotta try to correct it somehow to look natural. Other then that the trees looked great and shipped fast . I just got unlucky I think. I would definitely purchase from this company again if I were only planting a couple trees. But I have to plant 4 acres worth of these trees and I'm not sure that many will make the trip with the leaders intact .Very nice trees though.
I love it
The shipping was fast and the tree arrived better than expected given the 100 degree days we have had this summer. I have kept it watered and so far it continues to look good.
