Amazing Product!
Purchased to establish a new lawn. Pre germinated for 4 days and then set it out to dry for 24 hours before spreading. Within 2 weeks my grass is grow so fast I'm about having to cut it 2 times a week! Had a few spots to fill in (due to spreader issues) so I purchased a 3rd bag! You can't go wrong with this seed! I'm highly impressed.
This grass grows in Oklahoma!
The stuff at the stores in town are to expensive and just take forever. I laid this down watered morning and night and I saw blades popping through on Day 4! It’s hard to get things to grow in Oklahoma red clay but it has passed the test! I did an area with top soil and an area without, the area with top soil grew quicker the area without grew but not at the same rate. I would recommend this seed to anyone. Thank you!
Truly impressed
Here in LA ( lower Arkansas) with temperature 95+ degrees this grass seed germinated in 5 days. I watered it 2 times a day from 10 - 20 minutes each watering.
Only thing that's grown in my Zone 8 North Carolina sand!
We have very sandy/silty soil where I live in NC. Nothing but weeds seems to take in our soil. This year I aerated then seeded with this and within 7 days we had sprouts! We are now 2 weeks in and it's really starting to take off. We've had days in the 90's and the seed is going strong with 3 short (~6-12 minutes depending on the sprinkler type) waters a day. Very happy with this seed and will definitely buy it again. Also, the area I seeded was about 5000 sqft. I used 20lbs total of seed to give it a good coating (we have a lot of bare patches and weeds). I could've used another bag I think but I'm pretty happy with the coverage.
Great in Georgia Clay!
I recently planted 10 lbs of seed in my yard. I was VERY hesitant because all I had was red clay after doing some regrading around the house. I simply disturbed the top layer of clay with a hard toothed rake, spread the seed at the correct rates, and watered 2-3 times a day for 20 minutes. A week later and a thick bed of Bermuda grass is beginning to sprout! Excited to see the finished product!
