Sun Trumpets® Yellow Tecoma Shrub

1. Planting: Plant or repot within 4 weeks of arrival. Ensure you choose a location that offers full sun to partial shade and well-drained soil. Dig a hole that is twice the width of the root ball and the same depth, gently loosening the roots before placing the plant in the ground. Fill in with soil, pat down lightly, and water thoroughly.

2. Watering: Keep the soil consistently moist for the first few months to help establish your shrub. Once established, it becomes drought-tolerant and can survive with less frequent watering. However, during extremely hot or dry periods, occasional deep watering is beneficial.

3. Pruning: To maintain a compact shape and encourage fuller growth, prune your Sun Trumpets® at the end of the blooming season. Remove any dead or damaged stems and lightly trim back the bush to foster new growth in the spring.

4. Fertilizing: Feed your plant with a balanced fertilizer once in the spring as it comes back into growth. Avoid over-fertilizing, as this can lead to excessive foliage growth at the expense of blooms.
