The Most Popular Juniper
Why Spartan Junipers?
The tough yet attractive, upright-growing Spartan Juniper is a fast-growing, highly durable evergreen. In fact, it's now considered by most growers to be the most popular upright juniper on the market.
Plus, the Spartan’s fantastic tolerance to heat, cold, drought, and salt make it one of the hardiest junipers you can find. That means it’s extremely easy to grow, no matter where you live, especially since it thrives in virtually all soil types.
And it grows in a columnar shape with very dense branches, making it a good selection for those desiring a privacy hedge or wind barrier. So, whether you plant it along streets, fences or even as a standalone, it thrives without effort.

I ordered two of the
I ordered two of the Spartan Juniper, 3’ to 4’. They were both between 40” and 43”. Very pleased with them and they were planted the same day as I received them.
Spartan Juniper Trees
I ordered the Spartan Juniper Trees 3-4 ft and they came in looking great. The shipment came short two boxes short (4 trees). Contacted customer support and they looked into it and a few days following the other two boxes came but was short 1 tree. Had to have been the shippers problem because the one tree was boxed in a differentbox than all the others. Called customer service and they took care of the missing tree. Very good and prompt customer service. Very happy with the way they were boxed from Fast Growing Trees. Will be ordering more products from this company.
Wonderful, hearty, slow-growing tree
Wonderful product, does exactly what I want it to do. This is a long-term project, not a “grow a privacy screen in a year or two“ sort of thing – but they’re maturing nicely. No problems whatsoever in terms of maintenance. I did have a single tree that was damaged a year or two ago by either a deer or impact with the neighbor’s lawnmower, I’ll never know which. It looked like it might die, so I transplanted it elsewhere as a property line marker. It’s thriving too.
Privacy screen in progress
Trees arrived healthy and in a reasonable amount of time. I’m very happy with the way they look and excited for them to grow into a nice privacy screen. For context, the day I ordered the trees, the website said they only had six of the 2-3 foot trees, so I ordered six of those and six 3-4 foot trees and alternated when planting. Probably should’ve waited and got them all the same size but I still think it looks ok and probably won’t matter too much once they’re big.
Haven't had very long, but
Haven't had very long, but so far they are looking good.
