Totally adaptable - dense growth habit and easily trained branches make it an excellent protective barrier.
- Completely mess-free - doesn't shed its needles or produce any litter at all and deer stay away from the dense foliage
Not many trees can boast an evening show, so just imagine how magical a Moonglow Juniper would look in your yard, day or night.

Tree is very thin but about as tall as me. Came in great shape and well packaged. Also bought a black gum and ginkgo that I'm very happy with. Would buy again
Great is Right!
These trees are wonderful. I planted them this afternoon. I'm thrilled that I don't have to wait until spring to find Junipers I went to 2 local nurseries and they had nothing useful. These trees are six and half feet tall. The packaging was very impressive. Thanks!
Waiting with Bated Breath
I bought four moon glows a few weeks ago and they are in the ground and seeming to be taking root. They look healthy but with them being so tiny--I prefer planting smaller rather than larger and they came in around two feet--I feel that more time is needed before I can upgrade my rating. I look forward to watching my babies reach for the sky!
Love them. Just wondering when do I remove the bamboo stakes they came with?
Realy pretty trees and look super healthy. Love the silver blue foilage. Can't wait til they get bigger next year. Gave them some root rocket on plantng to help give thm a good strt. Wondering when do I remove the bamboo stakes? Thought I'd leave them til they get stronger ~
Planting & Care
Plant your Moonglow Juniper in well-draining soil and in a spot that receives full sun. Place in a hole twice as wide and just as deep as the root ball. There's no need to amend the soil, but do add a thick layer of mulch around the base of the tree for pest and weed prevention.
Watering: Make sure your Moonglow Juniper receives one inch of water each week during its first 2 years. Rain is usually enough to keep it hydrated, but you'll need to water the establishing tree if you experience a period of drought. After it's established, there's no need to water your Juniper.
Maintenance: Prune away any dead or diseased branches as needed. You can perform additional pruning for shape and size if desired. Keep an eye out for caterpillars and remove any branches that have been affected by them. Re-mulch with organic mulch every spring to keep your tree pest free. Cover your tree during periods of heavy ice lasting more than 2 days.
