Beautiful Pink Blooms, One-of-a-Kind Fragrance
With vibrant, rose-pink flowers and an intoxicatingly spicy-sweet fragrance, the Scent First Eternity Dianthus is a unique and beautiful way to add color to patio containers, gardens and more.
The Scent First Eternity Dianthus features the classic, carnation-like flowers of the dianthus, with frilled layers of hot-pink. This sun-loving, low-maintenance plant blooms in spring and lasts through summer, making it a great option for floral borders, gardens, patios or entryways. And its compact, free-flowering habit means it can be planted anywhere.
An added bonus? Butterflies love the fragrance and nectar-rich blooms. Plus, like most Dianthus plants, this Dianthus is deer-resistant, drought-resistant and hardy in zones 4-8.

Planting & Care
1. Planting: The Scent First Eternity Dianthus thrives in full sun. Find a spot with well-drained soil and 6 to 8 hours of sunlight per day.
Plant your flowers in a hole twice as wide and as deep as the root ball. Water immediately to establish roots. For best performance, add a 3-inch layer of mulch to prevent weeds.
If you're planting in a container, select a pot that's about twice the size of your plant's shipped container, and use organic soil. Place your Scent First Eternity Dianthus, water to settle its roots, and find a sunny spot on your porch or patio to place your container.
2. Watering: Water weekly, or check the surrounding soil. When the soil is dry about 3 inches down, it's time to water.
If your Dianthus is container-planted, water until you see it flowing from the drainage holes at the bottom.
Estimated Shipping Time: Most orders ship immediately. As noted on the website, some items are seasonal, and may only ship in spring or fall. Once your order is shipped, you'll receive an email with a tracking number.
