Product Description

Variegated Color Meets Easy Growth

Why Variegated Liriope Plants?
It’s like a mini willow, with its long and arching branches and weeping mound effect – and the Dark Blue Plumbago is made even more stunning by its bluish-purple blooms that emerge in mid-summer to early fall. Plus, this Plumbago can grow in a container or even be trained onto a trellis or archway, making the Dark Blue extra versatile.

And its flower clusters are especially eye-catching since they have five-petaled silhouettes. These blooms are a favorite for butterflies and hummingbirds while being deer resistant – this means you get a dazzling wildlife show without any hassle, especially since it’s drought-tolerant too.

Why Fast-Growing-Trees.com is Better
But the best part about our Dark Blue Plumbago? Aside from its tropical-inspired vibes and low-maintenance care, ours is the top variety because we’ve planted, monitored and shipped it with care. Since we’ve grown it, and grown it well, from day one, you get a proven performer in your homescape.

So, your Dark Blue Plumbago is consistent in size, shape, and color – we’ve put in the extra work so that you reap the rewards. And there’s nothing like exotic looks plus effortless care, right in your backyard. Get your own Dark Blue Plumbago before it’s gone!

Planting & Care

1. Planting: It’s highly adaptable and versatile, but the Dark Blue Plumbago does need an area with well-drained soil and 4 to 8 hours of sunlight per day. Once you’ve found your location, dig a hole that’s about one to two times the width of your plant’s root ball. If you’re planting in a container, select one that is about one and a half times the width of your plant. After digging, place your plant, backfill your soil and water to settle the roots.

2. Watering: Depending on the rainfall in your area, your newly planted Plumbago should be watered once or twice weekly. After the plant is established, water once every week or once every two weeks. If you’re not sure when to water, simply check the surrounding soil about 2 to 3 inches down – if it’s dry, it’s time to water.

3. Fertilizing: Apply an all-purpose fertilizer to your Plumbago once in the springtime and then again in the summer while it’s growing.

4. Pruning: The Dark Blue Plumbago doesn’t require pruning, but you may prune for your desired shape.
