Variegated Color Meets Easy Growth
Why Variegated Liriope Plants?
It’s like a mini willow, with its long and arching branches and weeping mound effect – and the Dark Blue Plumbago is made even more stunning by its bluish-purple blooms that emerge in mid-summer to early fall. Plus, this Plumbago can grow in a container or even be trained onto a trellis or archway, making the Dark Blue extra versatile.
And its flower clusters are especially eye-catching since they have five-petaled silhouettes. These blooms are a favorite for butterflies and hummingbirds while being deer resistant – this means you get a dazzling wildlife show without any hassle, especially since it’s drought-tolerant too.

Planting & Care
2. Watering: Depending on the rainfall in your area, your newly planted Plumbago should be watered once or twice weekly. After the plant is established, water once every week or once every two weeks. If you’re not sure when to water, simply check the surrounding soil about 2 to 3 inches down – if it’s dry, it’s time to water.
3. Fertilizing: Apply an all-purpose fertilizer to your Plumbago once in the springtime and then again in the summer while it’s growing.
4. Pruning: The Dark Blue Plumbago doesn’t require pruning, but you may prune for your desired shape.
Estimated Shipping Time: Most orders ship immediately, however we are currently experiencing delays and could take up to 11-14 days from date of purchase. As noted on the website, some items are seasonal, and may only ship in spring or fall. Once your order is shipped, you'll receive an email with a tracking number.
