Why Mister Lincoln Roses?
Offering blankets of blooms in rich scarlet, the Mister Lincoln is one of the few easy-care varieties delivering classic red roses. In fact, many experts consider Mister Lincoln to be the best red rose ever, with a longer bloom season and intoxicating melon aroma that are second to none.
It's a hybrid variety, combining the most sought-after qualities of two separate plants in one package. And it's bred to tick every box, so you won't have to choose between your favorite roses. The Mister Lincoln Rose packs an all-encompassing punch, giving your garden the best of both worlds: The sweet scent of the tea rose and the reblooming growth of the hybrid perpetual.
Each rose is bigger and better because the Mister Lincoln is supported by strong upright stems. Mister Lincoln delivers stunning cut flower arrangements, striking garden borders, and show-stopping entryway plantings to greet guests. No matter where it's placed, onlookers will stop and stare. If you've marveled at the professional gardens in glossy front-page features, you've seen Mister Lincoln because it's always the star of the show.
Best of all, it thrives on neglect and still grows exceptional roses, even in the country's harshest climates. Traditional roses suited for southern Florida are unheard-of, but Mister Lincoln fits the bill. Despite tough conditions—from freezing winter temperatures to sweltering Miami heatwaves—Mister Lincoln provides the look of a master rose garden without pruning, trimming or deadheading.

Planting & Care
1. Planting: Choose a spot with well-drained soil and full sun (6 to 8 hours of sunlight per day).
Plant your Mister Lincoln in a hole twice as wide but just as deep as the root ball. Water immediately to establish roots. Add a 3-inch layer of mulch to conserve moisture.
If you're planting your Mister Lincoln in a container, select a pot that's about twice the size of your plant's shipped container and use organic soil. Place your rose, water to settle its roots, and find a sunny spot on your porch or patio to place your container.
2. Watering: Water your rose weekly, or check the surrounding soil. When the soil is dry about 2 to 3 inches down, it's time to water your rose.
If your rose is container-planted, water until you see it flowing from the drainage holes at the bottom of your pot.
3. Fertilizing: Feed with a liquid rose fertilizer. Apply once in the spring and once in the summer, and follow the instructions on the package.
4. Pruning: Other than shaping, no pruning is required for your Mister Lincoln.
