Attractive - Easy to Grow - Bushels of Plums
You'll love picking these delicious, sun ripened Methley plums from your very own tree... just outside your door!
This vigorous plum tree, considered more productive and attractive than just about any other plum tree, an established tree produces an abundant harvest of fruit each year.
So much, in fact, that one harvest requires multiple pickings! It's an upright, spreading tree with pretty springtime blossoms and glossy green leaves that make it quite ornamental.
The juicy, deep red fruit of the Methley is harvested in late June to early July, and is delicious...eaten freshly picked or made into preserves.
The Methley is self-fertile and does not require another plum tree to produce fruit.
Methley is also a low-maintenance tree that requires little to no pruning. Disease resistant and tolerant of dry, hot conditions. Prefers full sun, but is adaptable to nearly any type of soil. An ideal fruit tree for growing zones 5-9.

It was in good shape
It was in good shape although a bit shorter than I thought. Ordering size must include root ball in height?
Methley Plum tree
The tree arrived in great condition. I planted it around a week ago. The tree still looks great! I hope it thrives@
Beautiful!
Tree came larger size than I thought it would. Planted it and it is already starting to grow!
Beautiful Trees
I've bought tons of shrubs and smaller things from this site. This is the first time I've ever bought a larger tree. I will ONLY buy larger sizes. I got the 6-7 ft Methley Plums and they are BEAUTIFUL. Over 8ft tall. If you have the money to buy the larger sizes save yourself the time and get it.
Review
Received tress in top condition. Planted a few hours after arrival and tress never showed distress and have put on excellent foliage. Very happy with purchase of trees. I plan to remove fruit next year to give trees another year to grow and mature. Happy with purchase and highly recommend Fast Growing Trees
