Easy-Growing Fern Thrives in Low Light
Why Holly Ferns?
Merging hardy strength with dense, rich green foliage, the Holly Fern is a spreading, vase-shaped plant that takes your homescape to new heights. Thriving in shaded areas, rock gardens and darker, more secluded locales, it's a must-have for indoor or outdoor growth.
Even better? It’s one of the few plants that grows in salty coastal areas and saline water. Plant it as a groundcover, border edging, or as a container-grown focal plant on patios or indoors - its unique texture is easy to maintain, defined by glossy, dark green fronds of holly-like growth that suits any space.

Planting & Care
1. Planting: Start by choosing a proper location for your Fern – an East or North-facing window is ideal since it grows best in filtered or indirect light, though it can tolerate shade. Once you’ve chosen your location, plant in a pot that’s approximately twice the size of your plant’s shipped container.
2. Watering: The Fern loves humidity, and it’s easy to provide a humid environment by placing your plant in a bathroom, kitchen or near a humidifier. Your Fern can be placed in other spaces, but it’s important to mist your Fern regularly – at least twice weekly. If you’re not sure when to mist, simply check the soil down to around 2 inches. If the soil is dry, it’s time to mist your plant.
3. Fertilizing: During the growing season, from April to September, fertilize your Holly Fern once a month using a houseplant-specific formula.
