Great little bushes/trees!
Purchased 2 of the 3-gallon Arrow Point Japanese Holly after extensive research on something that would anchor the corners of a new build home. I didn't want something that would be too tall or wide due to the space. When they arrived, they had green berries on them, and I wasn't expecting that as all of my research on this particular holly indicated that they do not produce berries. Therefore, I thought that I had received the wrong type of holly. I contacted customer service by email and they were very expedient in their response. In the meantime, I did further research and found a couple of websites that indicated that this type of holly can produce berries if pollinated by a male holly. Customer service emailed me back and indicated the same thing. I don't mind the berries at all but just wanted to be sure that I had not received the wrong holly that would outgrow the space. All in all, the hollies are beautiful with no issues whatsoever. FGT is a great place to purchase unique plants. This type of holly is relatively new and not easy to find. Thank you FGT!
Arrived healthy
Took close to a month from the time of order to when it actually arrived but I guess they were waiting for it to mature a little more. I would just suggest that the plants that they do not want to ship promptly they she add that note to the photos and description of the plants instead of finding out after checking out. . Outside of that the plants instead arrived in good shape and the box was not even banged up like in the past with Fed Ex deliveries (Fed Ex did not deliver this plant).
Great specimen!
The plants needed an extra month before shipment to be ready, but when they arrived, the foliage was beautiful. They were the expected size. The roots were robust! They're planted and in the ground and I can't wait to see how they grow!
Gorgeous soft rich colored evergreen
Received very well from FGT. First summer and winter seasons did very well in amended clay soil and north TX heat. Partially shady-deep shade location. Compliments our magnolias very well! Our kids love these “baby towers”. Excited to see these baby towers mature!
