Hoping for the best!
First time using FastGrowingTrees.com and I ordered 2 Kentucky Coffee Trees they had on sale. They arrived promptly and seem to be alive and dormant, but with a few branches snapped from the shipping/handling. Both are right at 6 feet tall and I planted them about 35 feet apart from each other. Gave them a nice mix of dirt, conditioner and soil, as well as the recommended root rocket fertilizer from their website. They look like 2 big sticks right now since it's Winter, but I'm hoping when May comes around, they will emerge from their dormancy alive and well.
It was a really nice,
It was a really nice, big tree, with a decent root ball, but several branch’s were broken, due to it not being packaged in a long enough box to accommodate it’s extra large size, so I had to cut a few branches to give the tree a clean angle cut, so that it will heal properly. Other than that, I am really pleased with it and can’t wait to see it come alive this spring to shade and provide some privacy, since it will now have all winter to establish itself.
So far so good
I’m pleased as I’ve already seen some significant new growth in only a couple of weeks.

Cool tree
Tree arrived in beautiful shape and is acclimating well. It provides a nice contrast to our maples, oaks, ashes and hickory trees. Hasn’t been through a winter yet but very pleased so far.
