Sunlight
The Elberta grows best in full sun (at least six hours of sunlight per day).

Watering
Generally, watering once to twice a week is sufficient. Make sure the water saturates the soil without leaving standing water. Once the soil around the tree has dried about 3 inches down, water the tree again.

Fertilizing
Apply 1 lb. of a balanced fertilizer formula, such as 12-12-12, after your tree has been planted for six weeks. In addition, apply ¾ lb. of fertilizer in the spring before the tree pushes out new growth. Repeat this process in the summer and fall.
Delicious Peaches in the First Season
Why Elberta Peach Trees?
Elberta Peaches are the world's most famous peaches because of their abundance of taste, attractive color and disease resistance. These trees give you very large peaches that are great for canning, snacking and baking.
Even better? Elberta Peach Trees are the most disease resistant peach trees available. And these trees are even insect resistant, meaning you can grow your peaches organically. No more harsh chemicals or sprays.
Why Fast-Growing-Trees.com is Better
Because we’ve nurtured your tree, continually pruning back to encourage more branches, you'll see dramatic growth. The additional limbs produce significantly more fruit and produce it much more quickly. Since we’ve done the work ahead of time, you will be able to start picking peaches after the first season, or as soon as the first year under optimal conditions. We even give them one last pruning before shipping, at no additional cost to you. This process will also ensure that your tree is dwarf-sized, and the fruit is easy to harvest!
Elberta Peach Trees are self fertile, but normally planted in pairs, so they can pollinate each other. This pollination causes your trees to produce more fruit - which means more beautiful bounties for you. We recommend cross-pollinating your Elberta with the Red Haven Peach Tree.
Elberta Peach Trees grow rapidly and mature quickly. The faster they grow, the sooner they reward you with delicious fruit. Order your very own Elberta today!

Doing Great!
This tree arrived in good condition! I was very happy with shipping quality. We live in very zone 9b. I thought i was going to lose the tree for the first 2 weeks there. We put in the backyard under shade for 3 weeks. It was hitting 100° daily when we recieved it. It stayed in the pot and was watered daily for those 3 weeks. I then moved the pot so it could get morning sun and shade from 1pm on. The leaves got droopy and I thought it was done. But then after a week it perked up. Then we put it in the ground when we knew it was gonna be very over overcast a few days in a row. It has been planted for almost a month and even though we lost only a few leaves, it has a few cute new ones on the tips and seems to like where its living now! I still have it shaded in the afternoons until we have highs in the 80s. . so like November. But next spring and summer it will be rooted enough it wont need the shade! I'm very excited to have this tree!
So far, so good.
Looked good upon arrival. Planted next day. Seems to be doing okay so far.
The first tree I purchased
The first tree I purchased this year withered and died after placing it in the ground after its arrival. I reordered another Elberta Peach tree and this tree has been perfect. It continues to grow after transplanting from its shipping box.
Came quickly, and as described!
Came quickly, and as described! We planted it and it has been doing very well so far. Hoping by next year, we see some more growth and potential fruit.
