5 in 1 Peach tree in a pot!

This is my first year with this peach tree. Really excited to have my own homegrown peaches and this is my first attempt at growing a fruit tree. Because of the uncertain timing on spring here in Colorado I have grown the tree in a pot. As you can see, I have many peaches right now. We’ll see how they produce and taste!

The coach trees are finally

The coach trees are finally showing promise in leaps and bounds. I am embarrassed too show you photos as they are imprisoned to prevent our city deer from eating the foliage. They can’t wait for fruit! Question: do we clip the suckers coming up from the bottom close to the dirt? Or are they to be branches later? Have same with the red dogwood. Thank you for asking for reports! The two freezes in March were frightening. K RICHERT

Fast Growing Trees Plant ExpertHi Kathleen, thank you for sharing your update. It’s wonderful to hear your peach trees are finally taking off and showing so much promise. We completely understand the need to protect them from deer, especially with fruit trees. For the suckers at the base, it is best to prune those off at the trunk or soil line so they do not take energy away from the main tree. The same applies to your red dogwood. Please reach out anytime if you need help.
