A Stunning Tree That's Nearly Indestructible

The Ginkgo Tree is often called a living fossil, having been around for over 200 million years…

Cared for by Chinese monks, the Ginkgo Tree has been nurtured and loved for centuries.

That's why it's one of the hardiest and most adaptable trees you can purchase.

And the Sky Tower Ginkgo gives you all of these benefits in a compact and dense tree that only grows to 15-20 ft. tall and 5-10 ft. wide.

· Totally adaptable - will grow in any soil or environmental condition including salty, polluted air and poor soil.

· Extremely hardy - tolerant of the heat of zone 9 and the cold of zone 3 all the way down to -30F

· Zero maintenance - plant your tree and then just watch it grow… there's seriously nothing else to it and no diseases or pests to worry about.

While the hardiness and durability is definitely something to brag about, the standout feature is really how gorgeous this tree is.

The fan-shaped leaves grow in a tight formation around this conical tree…

with a stunning deep green in the spring and an outstanding fall display of bright, mesmerizing yellow.

Whether you create a captivating display in your small yard with a single tree or add a row of Ginkgos to your expansive landscape…

You and your neighbors will be enchanted by this gorgeous tree that will live for hundreds of years.

Ginkgos aren't extremely fast growers, so be sure to order your Sky Tower Ginkgo now.

Better have patience
It may be a while before these get big, but I'm hoping it'll be worth the wait. I water quite frequently. It seems to dry out quickly here in CA. I was really worried if they would all show signs of life again after planting since they came dormant, but they did. Maybe the price is a bit high for these babies. They are not as tall as promised.
I ordered 4. They were just sticks in the mud when I got them. Planted right away, just babies now.

Nice...but arrived stressed...
I'm sure these will bounce back to life at some point, but at present, they are not where I hoped (I ordered 2). The trees were well packaged, but stressed in shipping. The picture was taken right after unboxing and planting. What I have noticed is that they take a considerable amount of water to make them happy. They always look their best after it rains. I planted on in the ground and the other in a container. I look foward to them a year from now after they have put on some growth and turn yellow in the fall. I would still recommend them.

I'm very impressed with the way my Ginkgo is growing. It looks great, and I planted it in the front yard so everyone will be able to see it.
Thank you for a wonderful tree.

Shaping Up Nicely
Planted the tree about 3 weeks ago in Zone 6 and it’s doing really well. It was a little droopy at first, but after a day or two it perked right up. Seems to be a bit more bushy also. Fast delivery & great service from FGT as usual.

2 Gingko Sky Towers to flank front yard
Both came well packed, planted and adapted well in my poor soil in Seaside New England. Slow growers here, but they have lots of competition with other plants around. They looked so nice, somebody decided they would uproot and steal one at night:( We are saving up for a replacement in the fall. Great purchase, do not hesitate to buy!

Not much to talk about.
They arrived in good condition. I planted them immediately. I have not seen any new growth since planting them. The foliage has not died or appear distress. It appears they r sleeping in preparation for creeping nxt growing season.

Very nice tree!
The tree is nice sized for one that was shipped. A little over 3 feet. It looks very healthy and although it drooped after planting for a week or so, is starting to acclimate nicely. The leaves are very unusual in a good way. They are just different from other trees and will be a point of conversation. I ordered three trees from Fast-Growing and am pleased with all three.

Initial review after a month.
I'm not so sure anymore if this will survive the Las Vegas weather when it's not even the peak of summer. I'm in Zone 9 and this was supposed to live well here. Weather gets hotter until late July to early August. I'm still holding an order for 2 more trees to see if this will survive healthy.

Planting & Care

It's Easy to Plant & Care for Your Sky Tower Ginkgo

Sky Tower Ginkgo Planting Diretions

Plant your Sky Tower Ginkgo in a hole twice as wide, but just as deep as the root ball. There is no need to amend the soil. After planting, add a layer of mulch to help the ground retain moisture. Water deeply after planting to settle the roots.

Watering: Watering is only necessary during dry periods, especially while it is establishing.

Fertilization: You do not need to add a fertilizer. Ginkgos are slow-growing, but fertilizer will not speed up the growing process.

Pruning: No pruning is necessary.

Pest and Diseases: The Sky Tower Ginkgo is not effected by any pests or diseases.

I am looking to plant within 15 or 20 feet of my house. Is there going to be an issue with the roots and my foundation?
Kim C on Feb 14, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Yes you can plant them 15-20ft from a structure.
What is the difference between the Goldspire Ginkgo and the Sky Tower?
Kandis on Mar 17, 2018
BEST ANSWER: The Sky Tower is a little more cold tolerant, gets taller and a little wider than the Goldspire Ginkgo.
Are these male or female ginkgos?
Edelia R on Mar 9, 2018
BEST ANSWER: We only carry the male Ginkgo trees.
How many inches does the Sky Tower Gingko tree grow in a year?

I would like to plant four of these in a row along my curb... how far apart should I space them?
Jason P on Jul 27, 2018
BEST ANSWER: I have no ideaIf that info isn’t listed on their website, I’d call them directly.
Does this tree (Sky Tower Ginkgo) lose its leaves in the winter, and how many hours of sun &/or shade does it do best, when receiving it?
Faye B on Sep 15, 2018
Some ginkos drop smelly seedpods (or something) and many cities have removed their ginkos for this reason. Are these trees like that?
Bradford T on Aug 28, 2018
BEST ANSWER: No, but they definitely don't look like the picture. Maybe in 10 years they will, but they come pretty small and scrawny.
Can I plant this tree in August 1st week in NJ area?? Will it survive??
Anu D on Jul 31, 2018
BEST ANSWER: I don't live in NJ but I'm looking at your weather and I would wait until it cools off a bit. I planted mine in March and it did ok during our over 100 degree weather here in Pueblo, CO but it drooped during the hottest part of the day. This tree seems quite hardy but it would be an easier transition for it if the weather were in the 70's and low 80's.
Are you giving answers to questions any longer. I really would like to know if these are on their own roots or grafted? Thank you.
blvolk b on Jun 25, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Mine arrived with their own roots...the packaging was just a bit below par from FGT standards - first couple of weeks the trees showed signs of shock - six weeks later all is good, new leaf growth and looking forward to great fall colors here in W. PA
Can I plant a sky tower ginkgo in a planter and if so how big of a planter should I get?
Mari-sol G on Aug 10, 2018
BEST ANSWER: I planted mine in the ground so not sure about a planter. It will grow to 15-20’ tall and it is columnar in shape so needs to have enough room for roots to support height of tree. Roxanne
