Unbelievably sweet berries with amazing health benefits

Cotton Candy Strawberry Trees or ‘Jamaican Cherry Trees’ produce small red berries that taste exactly how their name suggests, like cotton candy. Each refreshing berry has chewy skin and juicy flesh that’s filled with tiny yellow seeds that provide a delightful crunch while snacking on them.

Every summer your Cotton Candy Strawberry tree will be a hit with your family, friends and kids because it will become a beloved tradition to harvest the berries for snacking on fresh or for baking into pies and jams that can’t be found in stores. They will swear that the berries taste like candy, but in reality are extremely healthy.

The fruit contains high amounts of vitamin C, fiber, calcium, antioxidants and more. The flowers, bark and leaves are believed to relieve pain and headaches if made into a tea, as well as an all-natural antiseptic for skin irritations.

Cotton Candy Strawberry trees produce fruit and showy flowers all summer long so you’ll have tons of fruit and beautiful blooms for months. Each blossom is pure white with 5 petals, similar to a strawberry flower.

No waiting is involved with the low maintenance Cotton Candy Tree. Once planted it takes off with a growth rate of up to 4 feet per year. By being heat and drought tolerant you won’t have to invest a lot of time and care for huge berry harvests.

Grow your Cotton Candy Strawberry tree anywhere in the nation, even if you live outside of their growing zone because they will thrive in containers. Once it starts to get cold pull your tree inside and place it by a large sunny window.

When temperatures warm up again place your tree out on your porch or patio and prepare for months of unique and delicious fruit as well as vibrant flowers.

Cotton Candy Strawberry Tree Pollination

Cotton Candy Strawberry Trees are self-fertile. You will get fruit with only one plant. However, adding an additional Cotton Candy Strawberry Tree will drastically increase the size of your crop.

Planting & Care

It's Easy to Plant & Care for Your Cotton Candy Strawberry Tree

Step 1: Dig Your Hole

Select a site with full to partial sun and moist or well drained soil for your Cotton Candy Strawberry Tree .

First, dig each hole so that it is just shallower than the root ball and at least twice the width.

Then loosen the soil in the planting hole so the roots can easily break through.

Use your shovel or try dragging the points of a pitch fork along the sides and bottom of the hole.

Planting & Care

Step 2: Place Your Plant

Next, separate the roots of your Cotton Candy Strawberry Tree gently with your fingers and position them downward in the hole.

The top of the root flare, where the roots end and the trunk begins, should be about an inch above the surrounding soil.

Then make sure the plant is exactly vertical in the hole.

To make it just right, use a level.

Step 3: Backfill Your Hole

As you backfill the hole, apply water to remove air pockets.

Remove debris like stones and grass and completely break up any dirt clumps.

Water your Cotton Candy Strawberry Tree again after the transplant is complete.
