Planting & Care
1. Planting: During the winter months, the Winged Phoenix Hardy Schefflera enjoys bright light. In spring and summer, it does well with indirect light and a bit of dappled shade. Scheffleras prefers warm temperatures, so be sure to keep it away from drafty areas, and bring it indoors in the winter in colder climates.
When you're repotting or planting your Winged Phoenix Hardy Schefflera, select a container that's twice the width of the shipped container and one that has drainage holes.
2. Watering: Water your Schefflera regularly and lightly, keeping the soil consistently moist but not soggy. A good rule of thumb: Put your finger in the soil to check its level of moisture. There is no need to water your Schefflera until you have a full inch of dryness starting from the top of the soil.
