Planting & Care

Hazard Warning: Avoid growing Oleander in areas where children and pets play regularly. All parts of this plant are poisonous, including the smoke from burnt trimmings. Avoid any contact with skin, as this can cause irritation and/or allergic reactions.

1. Planting: First, select a location with well-drained soil and full sun – any area with 6 to 8 hours of sunlight per day will suffice.

When you’re ready to plant, dig a hole that’s about two or three times the size of your plant’s root ball, place the Nerium in the hole, back fill the soil and water to settle the roots.

2. Watering: Once established, your Nerium is drought tolerant, but it’s important to have a regular watering schedule for the first few growing seasons. Water your Nerium White about once weekly or check the surrounding soil…if the surrounding soil is dry about 2 or 3 inches down, it’s time to water your tree.

3. Fertilizing: Apply a well-balanced fertilizer to your Nerium in early spring, before new growth begins.

4. Pruning: If you’re growing as hedging, prune your Nerium in the spring after it flowers – this helps maintain a neat, tidy appearance.

Great tree

So excited to see this tree bloom, it has buds after just a week in the ground. Showed up a with a few brown leafs so I clipped them off. To be expected coming to Fl from CA. I was surprised that it was 5 to 6 feet tall. Excellent purchase.

Great tree.

Ordered on Feb 23rd and the tree came on March 5th,. The tree was a little beat up. I took it out of the box, trimmed the dead leafs off & immediately planted . In a little more than a week it has buds and will be blooming soon. Very happy with my White Oleander! I would order again from Fast Growing Trees.

Zone 5-6

I was given a red Oleander and bring it in the garage in winter and out in summer. I’ve had it for years.

Great tree, took easily

The tree has been in the ground for several months now and its flowers are starting to blossom. Was the right balance of maturity, while still young enough to adjust to being transplanted from pot to ground. Would buy again.

Perfectly straight

when they advertise a standard oleander they mean it! A beautiful tree that is already starting to willow out, definitely recommend.
