Fast Growth and Classic Grace

Why Weeping Willows?

Sweeping, low branches and a familiar, falling canopy. The Weeping Willow is a favorite among tree lovers for its dramatic appearance and rounded, weeping shape. Plus, it's perfect for those looking for character and classic looks, adding value to their property. The Weeping Willow is an excellent shade tree that's always in high demand.

And it's one of the fastest growing shade trees, growing up to 3-4 feet in one year. Willows start out thin, with only a few branches that point upward against the trunk. But after growing quickly to a height around 10 feet, they burst forth with more and more branches that arch outward, forming the weeping canopy that makes them famous.

Willow

So far I love it. I more than likely won’t get to see it fully matured out,but hopefully someone doesn’t chop it down

Love FGT!!

I’ve bought this tree twice, now, for my mom’s birthday…the first one took off and was doing wonderfully, but, my mom kept complaining that, “the guys planted it off in the corner of the yard and I wanted it in the middle…. ” Eventually, she got “the guys” to uproot and replant my (well, hers, I guess. lol) already well-established willow, to a different location in the yard. Welp, that failed epically. Not only did they plant it in the wrong location, again (according to her), it didn’t survive the move. Within 6 months, it was dead through and through. I bought another one for her birthday last year (2025), which, unfortunately ended up being the last birthday gift I would buy her while she was still on this earthly plain of existence…and, even more unfortunately, it did NOT do well and ended up dying around the same time she did, in July. 🫣😢 But, I’m going to try again this year, to plant another one )hopefully in the right place-I’m sure she’ll find a way to let me know if it’s not😄-in her honor. LOVE FGT!!! I’ve made many purchases with you, and will continue to do so. Your plants always arrive in fantastic condition-especially considering the journey they made, being jostled around in a dark box for weeks-and I’ve had many successful trees that have, and continue to bear fruit. Please send all the prayers, wish all the luck and/or send all the positive vibes/energy my way, to help make this third time The Charm!! ❤️✌️

I Love This Tree

I have ALWAYS wanted a weeping willow, it is my favorite tree! We had issues with trees surviving at the end of our retaining wall which is at the end of the highest part. After some research I learned these beauties handle water very well! So well in fact we didn’t need to do any adjustments to the drainage! Anyway, I’m thrilled it not only survived but indeed, has been growing fast!! I’m so impressed!! This picture is only 10 months apart! 🥰

Very Satisfied

I planted six trees here on our farm last Fall. Two Willows along the river shore, just a little off of the beach. There were some big old ones there when I was growing up, one actually overhung the sand. Great party spot! Both trees seem to be doing great and already have branches growing out from the trunks. I planted two Apple trees as well. They are putting out lots of leaves and the Red Delicious already has blooms on it. Also put in a Sugar Maple, which doesn't have leaves yet but is budding. Looks about the same as some other Maples here right now. Unfortunately, the Dogwood I planted somehow got ripped out of the ground by a mowing crew last Fall. I replanted it immediately but see no sign of life so far this Spring. It looked fine when I got it, so not an issue with the plant, it was the treatment.

Fast Growing Trees Plant ExpertHi Bill, tt’s wonderful to hear your willows, apple trees, and sugar maple are all off to such a strong start and showing healthy growth this spring. At the same time, we’re sorry to hear the dogwood was pulled from the ground after planting, as that kind of disturbance can be very hard on a young tree. We truly appreciate your thoughtful feedback and are so glad the rest of your planting is doing well. Please reach out anytime if you need help.
