Walker's Low Nepeta Catmint
The plant size is small and it will take at least 3 to 5 years to "mature. " A one gallon plant would reduce that time. This year I saw one or two blossoms!
Flower needs
I tried growing lavender in this area but I don't think it got enough sun. I ordered the catmint in this area. It arrived no flowers but quickly grew into a beautiful flowering plant. It survived the searing heat of 90 and above for 2 months straight.
Impressed
I purchased 4 of the 1 gallon catmint in mid May this year. I live in Texas & put them in my rock garden, and now in July I could not be more impressed! All 4 are huge with constant bloom & attract butterflies everyday!
